[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the first ThinkPad I bought. And this is the forth Lenovo I bought as well. First in 2005, second in 2014, third in 2017 and not this one in 2020. I think Lenovo is of good quality. Only one thing, could you design the power cord the same way. I have three Lenovo in use now and I need three different kind of power cord. It is not convenient.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the ThinkPad. Have used them for years at work. They are very dependable and I decided to purchase one for home.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Battery life is amazing and it was super easy to transfer files from my old computer. Screen resolution is great. I am experiencing some keyboarding issues highlighting text and URLs for copying/cutting and pasting that I have not encountered on other computers. Overall good experience.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had a Lenovo laptop for over 10 years before it broke where it open and closes. It still works, but I am unable to close it for travel. I have my new Lenovo laptop, love it, but it is NOT touch screen. Otherwise, I will always get a Lenovo.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this laptop because working from home meant I needed a laptop capable of handling all my multitasking. I’m a PhD student in the social sciences and this laptop makes it easy to have my thousands of tabs open in chrome for finding articles while also running statistical programs, taking notes in word or Zotero. But what I really appreciate, too, is that not only is it great for work, but it still is super lightweight, and I can carry it around my apartment and use it on the couch too. The only thing that bothers me is the layout of the keypad is a bit atypical. The “control” button is not in the very left corner but instead the second from the left corner, and the page up and down buttons are close to the arrow keys, which allows for unfortunate mistake. Still, I’ve grown used to it the longer I’ve been using the laptop and would definitely recommend.
