UHD screen poor fit /w integrated Intel Graphics

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I custom-ordered the T15 laptop with the UHD / 4K screen. The screen is really amazing and beautiful - really, it looks great. Unfortunately, the integrated Intel graphics cannot keep up with it. Simply scrolling web pages is slow and laggy. And unfortunately, this laptop was only offered with Intel graphics - there was no option for discrete graphics when ordering the laptop.
To put it another way, my 9-year-old ThinkPad T420 /w 1600x900 resolution display and integrated Intel Graphics can scroll web pages faster than the ThinkPad T15. I thought that surely after 9 years, Intel would have a faster integrated solution that could handle more modern screen resolutions. I thought wrong.
Lenovo really needs to offer this laptop with discrete graphics when paired with a UHD screen. Alternatively, maybe the integrated graphics on AMD processors is faster, but again, no AMD version of the ThinkPad T15 is offered.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The laptop hardware seems to run great so far, the reason for my decrease rating is that we ordered it with Ubuntu 20.04 and it came with Ubuntu 18 installed. Not a big deal, but it also means the upgrade installation of 20.04 that I did wasn't vetted to work for the hardware. So now I'm worried that I'll be solving driver issues (not the end of the world, but also not what is desired when you order a laptop with Ubuntu preinstalled).
I would recommend this to a friend!
