It's like putting a new engine in an old car!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have a PC that is a bit older. It runs sluggish although I upgraded the ram on it. The performance with the upgraded ram was nominal. However, after putting this SSD in the PC.. It performs like a champ! The boot up times are minimal. The apps run much faster. It's like night and day after putting this in! I am blown away by what these SSD's can do for older machines! If your looking to give your PC a serious lift than this is what you'll need.

Fast Storage

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been wanting to dabble in some SSDs for extra storage. This was a great solution. The 240GB is a bit small to use as a primary drive, depending on need, but it functions great as a backup. This would depend if your PC has the extra SATA cable to attach a 2nd drive or not. Mine did, and this hooked up very well. The drive itself has great read speeds and is definitely a level above a standard hard drive. The one thing I do wish it had was a SATA to USB for someone who may want to use this as an external drive, which this would be amazing for given its compact size.

Perfect hard drive to run operating systems

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was hesitant to buy an internal hard drive but I'm glad I decided to try this one! The Hyper X Fury 3D internal SSD Hard drive is incredible. It was so easy to install my 2 year old could have done it. It's super fast and dependable. I run my operating system from this hard drive and use the stock hard drive for storage and games and it's made every thing run faster and smoother. I would and have recommended this hard drive to anyone that does anything more than play solitaire. Check it out!

Fast and silent in a small size!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been wanting to upgrade one of my older laptops with a reliable solid-state drive and am really happy to have found the Fury SSD. With its small, sleek size it was very easy to install. It offers an excellent read/write speed of 500 MB/s, which means transferring and accessing files is much faster and an all-around smoother process. The package touts 12 times faster than a standard 7200 rpm hard drive, and after some initial use I can’t help agreeing with this benchmark. It’s also backwards compatible with older SATA 2.0, so I just may get another one for one of my other older notebooks or desktops.
Kingston is a brand I really trust, and it’s great the also provide a 3-year guarantee on the drive! This is great considering these aren’t expensive at all. This is the perfect example of high performance not being impacted by lower cost. If you’re looking to build something new and breathe life into something that needs updating, this won’t break the bank by any means.
With a lot of options to choose from out there, I recommend a trusted brand like Kingston and their Fury SSD. It’s not only reliable and offers high performance, but it’s a reasonable price as well. Go get a couple!

Amazingly fast!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The HyperX Fury 3D ssd was just the upgrade I needed for my gaming PC. My bandwidth performance and boot up speed have increased exponentially. The file transfer speed while downloading and updating gaming hardware is amazingly fast. It was extremely easy to install and is a must have for any individual who is in the market to optimize their PC for gaming performance.

It allows for my computer to run much faster and load content much more smoothly and quickly. I am not super tech savvy so i was very surprised that I was able to quickly install it. It definitely increased the speed of my computer and I am able to load games a lot faster then before. I even noticed increased speed when just browsing the web. This is a great solid state drive and is especially good considering the price. I would definitely recommend to others.
