Not bad but not good either

i like the edge display but hate the texture on the rest of the case. my last samsung case was with the note 8 and it had a full front that you cold see through and accept calls through and it folded out to be a stand in landscape mode. this one falls incredibly short of that case.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Epic Fail! Looks good in Theory Only!

i wanted this of the side notifications. turns out, that’s the only benefit. i’ll start by letting people know of the most dangerous problem of this case! while charging via wireless , the phone within 10 minutes got so hot it stopped charging, and was almost too hot to hold. a definite no for any case! to answer/place calls is very cumbersome as it has a curve to fit the curve of the screen, that feels like it will make you drop it accidentally if you are not extremely careful. the case is not easy to remove once on, (sometimes a good thing), so, if you need to be looking at the screen for something like directions, or watching a movie, give that up, it's not happening without removing the case. epic failure as a case!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Stay Away for Phone Safety

this case caused a burn-in on my phone, while i was able to fix the burn-in, i would not trust this case on my phone again.

Mixed feelings

definitely have mixed feelings about the cover after having used it for about a month now...
pros:
* sleek design, perfect fit with phone
* tailored display bar when cover is closed is a nice touch

cons:
* when folding back the cover to hold phone in one hand, clear plastic edge curves out and pokes into your hand
* again with cover folded back, camera can still take pictures through clear part of cover, but when you look at the picture later on a larger screen, image turns out a bit blurry (and smudged if you don't keep your cover clean)

Samsung let me down

i bought the smart view case for my s20 ultra with great expectations. the case it self is wonderful and very stylish. the problem i have is the programmable portion. you can choose to have the clock remain on at all times but the notifications will display for about 5 seconds and turn off. to see notifications you must press the on button for them to display. i was hoping to use this case as a way of not having to even come near my phone and be able to see if any actions were needed from a distance, i.e text message, voice mail ect. such a shame with a beautiful case comes no personal setup choices.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Love This Case!!!

not quite sure where the negative reviews are coming from...this case if beautiful and fabulous! i love the sidebar with all the info you need. i love that the edges on the top and the bottom of the cover extend just enough to open the cover easily, and i love the color that they say is brown but in some lights looks like a muted pink, as does the mystic colored phone and in other light it looks all bronze - both the phone and the cover. perfect match. also not sure why people said that the curve on the cover cuts in to their hand...i am a female with small softer hands and honestly, it couldn't possibly cut into your hand as it is a dull edge and is barely felt when you turn back the cover.
I would recommend this to a friend!

was skeptical getting this cover because of the reviews but have had it for a year now and it's great.
* it is very durable and easy to clean. looks great after a year of nonstop use by me and 3 kids.
* love that i can answer a call without flipping it open or see the time.
* was concerned about it not being magnetic but that proved not to be an issue as i open the cover every time i use the phone anyway. it has never opened up by itself in my bag.
