Very Versatile

I got this for Christmas at my request because I didn't want a massive 64 oz or 72 oz jug. This 48 0Z unit is perfect. The dimensions of the Fresh and Furious allow it to sit under my standard 18 inch countertop cabinet height which was my number one priority aside from its blending performance which is outstanding. Makes excellent thick viscosity smoothies. Clean up is easy and I do use the auto clean feature which works well when I immediately finish using the jug. Anything dried on will come off in the dishwasher. Great product.

Had a commercial Vitamix which was about 15 years old and then replaced with a newer version Vitamix. Right out of the box, the Vitamix would not perform for a smoothie with frozen strawberries! The Vitamix was so bulky and heavy. I make smoothies nearly every day. After looking at many blender makes and models, we settled in on this one. I love this Breville blender. It works great. Nice design on the blending container and lid. The blade does a great job on frozen fruits. Doesn't slip on the counter when blending. There are so many nice features to love about his blender. Easy to clean with the clean feature. I don't put in dishwasher, but I think you can. I don't like for my container to get cloudy and scratched from putting in the dishwasher. Very happy with this purchase. It's just the right size too.

I would have given it a 5 star as it makes great smoothies and puree butternut squash. However, it is so forceful that I once put it in a drying pad and it started rotating. Had I not been near it, it would have fallen off the counter. Love the dark black color. Bought one for my son in silver.
