I recently purchased the Bambino Plus as someone new to espresso that wanted a machine to learn on and grow with, and I couldn't be happier. It doesn't take up too much foot space, and it looks fabulous on my coffee station. The machine is very easy to learn how to use and clean. It does get a bit noisy when running, but it makes a great shot of espresso. The frother works great, and it's helpful that it has different heat settings - I like to chug my coffee immediately, so it's nice to have the option to not burn my mouth. Over all, this machine is very well-made and suited perfectly for anyone looking for a great cup of espresso - I highly recommend it! :)
I did alot of research before choosing the Bambino Plus. I was having a difficult time with how much it cost but in the end it was worth every penny and I couldn't be happier. I push a button to turn it on and it's ready to make coffee in less than 5 seconds. The auto-frother is a wonderful feature. The first time I used it my coffee was too cool for me so I turned up the heat for the milk and the next time had a delicious hot latte. I will be recommending this machine to anyone looking to purchase their first espresso machine.
I have had the Bambino Plus for 10 months. I do enjoy the coffee it makes. However, it needs cleaning and descaling much more frequently than the bigger machines. That is also true in comparison to other small espresso machines. It often surprises me with blinking lights which indicate it needs to be cleaned or descaled. Even though you are supposedly able to bypass those once, I haven't found that to be true. When the lights start blinking, there's no alternative but to stop what you are doing and clean. I've also had trouble with the frother lights blinking even after cleaning the wand and flushing it. Sometimes if I turn the machine off after cleaning, they will stop. I do like that it's small and doesn't take up much space on my countertop. It fits neatly under the cabinets. I have it in the blue and it's very attractive. My recommendation would actually be a "maybe" but that isn't a choice.

I bought this a couple of months ago and love it! I normally enjoy coffee, brewing it a different way but with the Bambino Plus, the coffee is strangely more flavorful and I can easily vary the experience, depending upon how I'm feeling that morning (bold, less bold, etc.). I simply use the wand to add as much water as I wish and then hit the double-espresso button (sometimes twice) and, viola, the coffee is made to perfection! We originally bought it for it's hot milk frothing function. My wife enjoys tea made the "London Fog" way and this machine was truly built for that. The frother super-heats the milk and more than doubles the volume for a truly creamy result. We truly enjoy this product because it works as advertised and, flawlessly. I highly recommend it to our family and friends.
I bought the Breville Bambino plus last month. I have had other espresso machines those were never as good as this one.. I also bought the grinder to match . I am now the Barista of our home.
I have had the Breville Bambino Plus for a month now. Very satisfied with the build quality and aesthetics of the machine. It is compact enough for our small kitchen, yet does everything a big machine would, it also comes with all starter accessories. We also find it easy to clean and refill with water, you can either refill by removing the lid or taking the whole water out. Espresso starts pouring within 4 seconds of pressing the button, plenty customization options for pulling shots or steaming milk, just make sure you read the manual or watch a video. Great experience so far, wholeheartedly recommend to anyone looking for a compact, quality espresso maker.
This is the best investment for our life style. Good expresso in the morning, easy to use , easy to clean . Just part of our life .

I've had this machine for 6 months, and it does make a good coffee.
However there are 3 main design flaws that I find really annoying.
1) Small drip tray The drip try is small, so small that it needs to be emptied after 2 coffees. The worst part is the steam wand auto-clean function, it decides to clean itself whether or not the drip tray is full, blasting milk-tainted steam into the drip tray, which then spills all over the kitchen bench. MASSIVE FAIL!
2) Cleaning Cycle When the machine decides it needs a cleaning cycle, it stops. You then need to tip out any coffee you have ready, go find the manual to work out how to run this "cleaning cycle", hope like hell you can still find a cleaning tablet and other bits required. This makes the machine totally useless!
3) Water container at back This puts the centre of gravity at the back, so when you twist the portafilter into the group head, you're likely to move the whole machine across the kitchen bench. It doesn't matter that you
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
