We bought this around Black Friday. I was torn between this and the Barista Express. We’re limited on counter space so we decided on the Bambino Plus because of the smaller footprint. I’m not a huge coffee snob so we’ve been very happy just using ground espresso. I didn’t know if I would miss the process of grinding our own espresso, but I like this better. The machine has been flawless and we use it way more than we thought we would! My wife loves London Fogs and we’re tinkering with different combos for hot chocolate, americanos, lattes, etc. The steamer has been great. We’re really enjoying our Bambino plus and we use it way more than my old coffee pot we had before. It's been a great purchase! #noragrets

I couldn’t be happier with my machine. It’s everything I thought it would be. It feels like a quality product and is gorgeous. With its small footprint it’s a hit with the wife too because it doesn’t take up a lot of room on the counter. It makes great espresso and the steam wand is great because you can have it foam your milk or you can do it manually. I would definitely recommend and would buy another one tomorrow.

I know it is just January, but I know this would be my best purchase of the year.
I used to work as a barista when I was in college and this simply reminded me of all the good memories. The taste of espresso it provides is a given since it is solid, and the auto frothing feature is just oh so heavenly.
Aside from its coffee results, another perk is that it drastically decreased my coffee related spend. In this economy, this can be the top reason why people should get the machine.

I have used other commercial espresso machines and love the almost no heat-up time with this machine! The coffee from it is better than expected and the auto steam works really well! Getting the coffee out of the portafilter is super difficult though and very messy even with a knockbox. Using the hot water function to make an americano is frustratingly difficult if you don't push the buttons at "exactly" the right time. The drip tray is super small and the 3 way valve exhaust splashes out of the tray and makes a mess. The programmed volumetric 2 cup button often delivered quite a large variance of coffee.

This maker combines desirable features like very small footprint, with easy automation, with delicious coffee. Steamer/frother works really well, once you understand the automation, which is easy. And it looks great. Highly recommended and a great value, especially if you can find it on sale. (Usually twice a year.) My only negative is that it lacks quite enough power to push water through a traditional fine espresso grind, but going up a notch in coarseness solves the problem. Very happy with this purchase.
