Can’t get a consistent shot pulled. I can grind and tamp exactly the same each time, but the Bambino is inconsistent. I don’t have this problem with my Breville Dual Boiler. Very frustrating and I’ve wasted a lot of expensive beans.

Perfect choice! I was looking for an espresso machine with high space for mugs. This one is perfect for me. It makes coffee really fast. I’m enjoying my coffee for about two weeks and I don’t see any reason to give less than 5 stars.

Bambino Plus--An outstanding intro to real espresso!

Thoroughly enjoy our Bambino Plus. We also bought the unpressurized 1 and 2 cup baskets so that we can adjust the tamp and grind to get the most out of our beans. The three second wait to heat up is really quite amazing and we are pulling expressos as good as ones that we have gotten in Seattle. For the occasions that we want to get a quicker coffee we use the pods in the single pressurized basket and it is even blazing fast compared to the Nespresso machine we have and tastes much better. The milk frothing wand works great and easily achieves a nice amount of foam. We have found that using the cleaning tool on the tip once a week or so really helps to keep it frothing nicely instead of waiting for the machine to alert you to clean it.

Worked Great For Five Months

I would give it 5 stars except it didn't last even 6 months, making an average of one coffee per day. Before having it 6 months, the machine stopped pulling shots. It's almost like the pump was going out and didn't have the pressure to force the water through. I loved the Bambino Plus because it's simple and makes great coffee, but due to the poor durability and poor support, I would not recommend the Bambino Plus.

Undrinkable coffee

Let's start with the positive. The automatic steam wand is great. I've used it on oat milk and dairy milk and it produces nicely textured milk at the perfect temperature. I only wish my Bambino Plus produced better tasting coffee. Every shot from this machine tastes bitter and undrinkable. I've tried everything to fix this from changing to darker roasted beans, changing grind settings, changing dose, different tamp pressure, different distribution methods, preheating the portafilter, and using the razor that came with the machine. Nothing works. Despite hours of effort, it still produces acrid, undrinkable coffee. On the automatic factory settings, it is producing watery espresso in about 15 seconds. After extraction, the puck is very watery. I would be very pleased with the Bambino Plus if it produced drinkable coffee. It's a good size, the automatic frothing feature is great, it's easy to clean, and simple to operate. However, the coffee is horrible and I can't recommend it to others.

One of the most frustrating coffe makers ever

This machine is like a box of chocolates, never know what you are going to get. Very inconsistent and craps out half way through making a cup. Coffee is supposed to be enjoyable. This machine makes it frustrating. Had this a little over a year and now water does not even flow.
