I love Latte's and this is the reason I purchased the Bambino Plus. It appeared in many ranked reviews as the best in its class and those reviewers are right. When the frother is running it sounds and feels like I am in a coffee shop. It is easy to use and frother does an excellent job. I can't say enough good things.

A mini pro, a busy travel unit

My Touch went back for repairs (my fault), so bought this to fill gap, thinking it'll be a nice travel unit for "drivable" vacation spots.
I am very impressed, great creama, great temperature control, love it.
And yes, we take to cabins, rentals, visiting the kids, etc.

Easy to use, makes good cappuccino. Damson Blue is off-black!

Very light-weight. Worries me about how long it will last. You have to hold it down to take the portafilter on and off. You have buy separately the tablets and solution for cleaning and descaling. You also have to buy real portafilters baskets on your own; it comes with weird fake pressurized portafilters baskets that make every shot the same no matter what you do.
However, it’s really quite lovely and makes decent cappuccino quickly. You can program all kinds of things and it’s quite dependable. It’s easy to get it to push the right amount of water through for your shot every time. It heats up super-fast, making espresso much faster than the kettle can boil water! The steamer’s automatic feature is top notch (makes it so easy!) but trying to manually steam is a pain.
I waited many, many months for W-S to ship me the Damson Blue and I am sorely disappointed. The color is nothing like the photos. Just buy the stainless steel or whatever the shop has and enjoy your drinks right away.

I received this product as a gift and knew next to nothing about pulling espresso shots. After reading the first few pages of directions I was pulling shots in less than an hour. The auto milk froth is an awesome feature as well!
I have now had this product about a month and since then I've done a little more research (YouTube) and purchased a few additional accessories (personal reasons) and I am really enjoying perfecting the craft. I will add the "Blade" that comes with this product is a cool idea, but I never really understood how to use it without making a complete mess. Also, from all the research I've done, it's not a terribly useful tool.
I would highly recommend the Bambino Plus to beginner and novice home baristas, the machine itself is sleek, easy to use and with a little practice, pulls great shots!

Great machine for getting started with and enjoying espresso based drinks

Great espresso machine for those looking to enjoy espresso based beverages without breaking the bank on a higher-end machine. The Bambino's quick heating system allows you to start pulling espresso shots almost immediately and to quickly transition between espresso and steaming without waiting for the machine to adjust temperature. While the machine provides the ability to do everything automatically, it also allows for manual espresso and steaming as well which is nice to get accustomed with before moving up to a more advanced machine. I enjoy pulling manual shots differently with different types of coffee beans to see how it impacts the flavor/quality. Some people will complain about the smaller portafilter, but I think it is acceptable given all the other benefits the machine provides. The only issue I have had with it is that when frothing milk, there will be some milk residue stuck to the frothing wand which can take some effort to remove with a damp towel. I've noticed this does not happen with oat milk however, so I have been using that for lattes without any issue. Do not hesitate to buy this machine.

This is a great machine. It's intuitive to use. I personally like to have the control of steaming the milk myself, but I have tried the automatic frother. I think that I filled it up a little too much as it overflowed. However, it still did a way better job than expected for that. It pulls a great shot. I love that It doesn't take up a lot of counterspace! It's a perfect size for me with a smaller kitchen while still performing at a level of a bigger machine.
