I have owned this espresso machine for about a month now, and I must say it's excellent. The espresso tastes perfect, but I admit I really do not use the milk steaming option as I prefer to use my frothing machine. I tried steaming my milk once or twice, it was OK, but I still prefer frothing it for a perfect (for me) cappuccino. The machine is simple to use and to clean, and looks perfect on my kitchen counter. I highly recommend.

This our first really nice espresso maker. It looks beautiful sitting on our kitchen counter. We got the gold color, FYI (love it)!!! Now, as far as making great espresso, this unit excels. Everything just works they way it should. If you read the directions, you will be making some great drinks (I suggest a Mexican Mocha)! We also bought the four year protection package just because there are so many working parts in this little beast. Buy it! You won’t be sorry.

I love this little machine. It's very quick to heat up and makes great espresso. I really have no complaints. Upgrading to a single wall filter seemed to help me, but I have a dedicated grinder that seems to be pretty consistent. If you need more control over the process, you could upgrade to one of the more expensive Barista Series machines, but this one works perfectly for me.

Question about Cleaning cycle

I really like my Bambino Plus but was surprised that it more or less shuts down without prior warning when it decides it’s time for a cleaning cycle. Also, I received 2 cleaning tablets with the machine but I’m wondering if I really have to buy more of these or if I could just use something like baking soda to run the cleaning cycle.
