WOW! This Puts a smile on my face every morning

The Breville Bambino Plus is so easy to use, makes espresso as good or perhaps better than the big coffee houses, is so convenient, and brings our family the best Americanos we have ever had. We use it daily. It's also a beautiful addition to our kitchen countertop and takes up almost no room. This little machine is a best investment for anyone who loves espresso.

Great machine for great espresso

Coming from someone who works in a coffee shop, I have to say, this machine is a great way to enjoy a decent espresso without leaving the kitchen. I was apprehensive of the steam wand, as I had wanted one that I could manually steam (which you totally can do on this), but this actually creates a pretty good micro-foam for lattes. It is relatively easy to clean/maintain, which was another concern of mine. Honestly, regarding price (and the great color), I have to say with all my research for a good machine, I think this was the best choice.

Faulty Machine

Auto steamer did not work. No matter what I set the heat and foam level it just boiled over. I checked with Breville and since the frothed cup was on the sensor it seemed that there was an issue with machine. I opted to just send back instead of getting a replacement. Purchased a different brand that worked great. Unfortunately now they are delaying my refund. I would warn against buying items from them.

Disappointment - 2nd Machine

I have had two machines (Bambino and Bambino Plus) and both Steam Wands (milk texturing) stopped working after 14 to 16 months. And, the Bambino Plus does not dispense water to produce expresso shot after 16 months. We have diligently cleaned using the recommended cleaning solutions (tablet). We understand these are not the top of the line machines but were hoping they would last at least 5 years.

Leaking

Bambino Plus is leaking underneath, which has been found to be a common problem. The buttons on the front don’t light up any more either, which just randomly happened one day. Not worth the money! Mine is not even very old and hasn’t been used very much.

a part time job to keep running

with purified water, constant cleaning, descaling cycles and around the clock care you MIGHT be able to get this thing to make you a cup of coffee. or it might schedule itself for another cleaning cycle and refuse... dont throw the manual away you're going to need it to decipher the 10+ different error messages its going to keep throwing at you

Worst machine I have ever used

Bought this machine about a year ago. Worked fine for about a month. Sent it out for repair, worked okay but now broken again. Will never buy another Breville machine again. Does not brew, water pours out of the bottom.
