So many features it’s crazy. Can make espresso right out of the box.
I did take out the black plastic in the portafilter and put in a 22gram IMS basket and pulling a triple shot. 1:3 ratio for my cappachino. . So far working like a charm. No control for hotter water is my only gripe so 4 stars. Only had it a month so we’ll see if it lasts.

Easy to use but.....

I love how simple this machine is, especially in regards to steaming and frothing milk. However, it does seem to need cleaning quite often since it's used 4 or 5 times a day. That is a nuisance, but I can live with it. But today all 5 lights started blinking. Nothing in the manual about this, so had to call Breville. Luckily, the machine is just over a year old and under warranty so they will fix it. But, I have to send it back and am now without a machine until I get it back. Still, I think it's a great machine overall.

I have had mine for over a year now and I love the machine. It's compact for the countertop, makes delicious shots and perfect milk. My only tiny issue is that it slides around on the counter when I am tightening the portafilter so I have to grab the machine with my other hand. This machine makes espresso better than many cafes. Delighted to have the Bambino in my life!

Does all that I want for an espresso with a small footprint*. The automatic milk frother is a really nice touch, easy to use. I would say get a better tamper, the one it comes with isn't great and i'm not a fan of the portafilter, the espresso comes out very messy since the cup is so far from the portafilter.

Great machine, easy to use. I ordered a black so we did not have to be concerned with water spots. This is our first Expresso machine very easy to use and clean. Glad we got the Pro as the auto milk steamer is great. Size is perfect to take while car traveling.

I researched several espresso machines before I decided to buy the Bambino Plus. I am extremely happy with my purchase. Not only does it produce an outstanding cup of espresso, it is also easy to operate and requires a minimum of maintenance. Many other machines I looked at had too many parts that needed to be cleaned and maintained.
I wanted to avoid buying a new grinder. The burr grinder I have had for years works beautifully, although it has only 16 grind settings. I found that the settings weren't fine enough to achieve a good end product using the single-walled filter baskets. However, using the included double-walled baskets produced the best espresso I have ever achieved at home, and they aren't as fussy about the grind size and tamping pressure.
My only small complaint is not about the machine itself, but about the milk steaming pitcher. I wish Breville would find a way to make the fill lines on the INSIDE of the pitcher more visible. The ones on the outside are clear enough, but those on the inside are really hard to see.
