This is the first time I've ever operated and owned an espresso machine. So here are my thoughts for a beginner.
This machine is extremely easy to use and very user friendly. The preset milk temperature and froth make it super convenient when you're trying to multitask in the morning. There are no parts you have to put together and the instruction booklet is quite descriptive. The only thing I did not find in the booklet was how to remove the double wall from the portafilter. All I did was google it real fast, the internet is helpful sometimes. There are not a lot of moving parts so the machine isn't too intimidating. I love this Breville machine. Very happy with my purchase.

Worked for a year...

I loved making cappuccinos and lattes at home every day, but over the last few months, the bottom of the machine has been leaking every time I make espresso, and now the steamer barely makes any foam and makes louder than usual noises. I don’t know what happened!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Awesome machine

I received this as a gift and have had awesome results! I ended up buying the pro coffee grinder to grind my own coffee fresh. It is awesome! Love the smallness of the machine but produces the best espresso I have had since I was in Europe! It is fast, and well worth the money!

Bambino Plus is a perfect machine for everyday espresso coffee at home. No more visits to the Starbucks and saved money too. The brewing time is amazing and in few min, the espresso will be ready. The maintenance needs a little bit learning curve, but once you have the skills, it will be just a breeze. The automated reminder for cleaning is awesome and it takes only a few min to get the job done. I love this machine and it became part of our life.
