Fun for older kids and adults

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] All three of my kids tried this, but really only the eight and ten year olds were able to do it well. I like that it came with a lot of different colors to try. I wish it was easier to release/pull out the sticks when you are done, but it gets the job done.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The 3Doodler Create+ Essentials 3D Printing Pen is the greatest! It is so easy to use. Even if you don't have an artist in your blood, you can create some really cool 3D pictures! A must have for those who like to diddle.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is our second 3-d pen and it’s better than our old one. However, it takes a lot of trial and error and practice to truly make something.
The pros : I love the size. It’s much slimmer and easier to hold on to compared to others.
It hasn’t overheated on us yet. The plastic refills are straight and sturdy. Easy to insert and store vs. being coiled up. It is fun to scribble designs, not necessarily creating a 3-d piece.
The cons: it’s not a simple activity to creat a 3-d item. It takes practice and patience. My kids were hyped up to try it but got frustrated very quickly and moved on.
The cord can sometimes get in your way.
Overall, it’s a good time waster but not a craft my kids beg to use.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Wow, I've never used a 3D pen before and I gotta say.. this was fun. I've still got some more practice to get better at it but it's so neat how quickly it hardens
My kids have had a blast playing with it as well!
Hopefully we will get better at it.. lol

At first, it took me a little time to get the hang of it but now it's fun. I use it for crafts and making 3D art. Just tap into your imagination to create endless possibilities. Highly recommended for artistic users.

Take creativity to another dimension!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I found the pen pretty easy to use (after about half an hour of practicing). I have been creating my own designs but plan to hop online to get some ideas for some new things to create. The videos are a bit misleading because you can't just draw in the air freely; you have to start on a surface and can only draw vertically a short distance before making any other moves. The plastic just falls (I'm sure because of gravity) if you try to draw in the air. It's easy to hold and easy to control once you get the mechanics down.

So far we have used it with 2 different children and both have gotten frustrated trying to make something. We have successfully made one thing! They keep trying though!!
