Great setup BUT...

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the ease of use and that it's glass. Everything is dishwasher safe so cleaning is easy. You can remove the central rubber stop so that a vent hole is open for microwaving. My one HUGE complaint is that if you vacuum too hard, even the recommended auto shutoff, the lid can buckle and crack. I got replacement lids through warranty, but watch the lid as you vacuum so that you don't go too far.
I would recommend this to a friend!

2 lids have cracked so far after only a few uses

Bags work great and have done wonders with space saving, but the more expensive containers seem to crack for many people judging from recent reviews.
The 2 lids that have cracked for me have the ID/Batch number of: 02KC62. Not sure if this is consistent with the other reviewers, but would be wise for Zwilling to investigate before these problems ruin the perception of the entire fresh & save product line.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great addition to the Zwilling vacuum system.

I really like the Zwilling vacuum system because of the glass containers, which nobody else offers. These are much like the others. Thick oven-proof glass and a vacuum lid that also goes into the microwave. The lid seals well, in spite of the large size and square shape. I've dinged them one star entirely because these are, I think, unnecessarily expensive.

A great container to use with the Zwilling Fresh and Save Vacuum Pump. This is a great size for easy storage. With the lids attaching to the vacuum pump, you get an airtight container that won’t leak and keeps your food fresh much longer. Since the container is made of a very durable borosilicate glass, it can go in the oven, fridge, freezer, microwave and dishwasher. A great container to have for all your food saving needs!

I like the quality feel and heft of the glass. so far, my strawberries have been spared and taste great. They are great for a clean and organized refrigerator. I look forward to buying more pieces.

This was a great find. The reusable resealing makes it terrific in either the refrigerator or freezer. Leftovers maintain their flavor. In the freezer there is no freezer burn. Love the stackable containers and they fit into each other for easy storage.

The Gratin dish is of very high quality and will last much longer than similar plastic options. I wanted a strong and durable container that holds a sizable amount and is easy to clean for storage and there are none better than this. I already have the large and medium glass sizes and will look to add more. I am very happy with my purchase
