Bags not reusable for meat/fish

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We live in Alaska and fill our freezer up with fish every year that we vacuum seal. This was going to be a way we cut down on plastic waste as all the pictures show the bags with raw meats and fish. Upon reading the manual, you arent supposed to reuse the bag though after raw meats/fish so the advertising was a bit misleading. We are loving using the vacuum seal to keep fresh produce longer.

Worth a try, I like it

I usually store cooked rice, sweet potatoes or raw fruits, and this vacuum works very well. I almost use it everyday. I haven't tried the plastic bag yet. Since the plastic bag is not reusable after storing raw meats, I am not satisfied with that. Overall, I like it very much so far and recommend it.

Easy to use

Easy to operate even to a novice like myself. I get a fresh and clean feeling from the set and would never store my meals in a different medium. Thank You, Zwilling!

Food Fresher Longer

Love my Fresh & Safe Vacuum. It easy to use and clean; I like having glass containers in addition to the bags. Depending on what I have cooked there is an occasional odor residue, but it does NOT affect the new food being saved and eventually, it dissipates. Equally important, food lasts longer and still tastes great!

This Zwilling set is great!! I have a food saver that I use a lot but this is so easy and handy to use for day to day stuff. You can store the vacuum sealer In a cabinet. So you can open and seal again quickly. So far it keeps anything you put in there fresh longer. Wish they sold glass containers separately.

You will not believe how easy this is to use. This is hands down the best vacuum sealing kit out there. The hand held pump has as much power as the large bulky counter top versions and is so small and pretty you can just leave it on the counter or put it in a handy drawer. It's so simple there's no excuse to store anything without vacuum sealing anymore. The pump is rechargeable with included USB.
