The bags are great, the seals on the glass containers pop open between 1-3 days after being sealed. Luckily I bought this system mostly to use the bags, and they have been excellent.

We are so happy to hear that our Fresh & Save bags are great for you, did you know that if you want to vacuum seal marinated foods in a bag, you can use our Liquid Barrier to prevent liquids from entering the pump during suction. The liquid barrier holds back the liquid for you. This gives you time to switch off the pump before sauces get too close to it. However, we are sorry to hear about your experience with your glass containers. We recommend wiping the rubber around the seal of the release valve inside and out and the surrounding lid and the containers rim before sealing to ensure the sealing area is dry and clean before trying to seal. Will only hold a vacuum for less than 24 hours. Using different products from ground coffee to whole coffee beans doesn’t seem to matter. Other food stuff when refrigerated seems to last longer. I can understand that ground coffee might cause issues with the seal but there is no reason why the whole beans are losing their vacuum.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
