Very Well Made - Super Convenient To Use

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve used other line powered vacuum sealers that vacuum seal plastic bags and can vacuum seal canning jars by using an attachment with a canning lid. That product also came with two round plastic resealable canisters, both of which worked well. The unit vacuum sealed disposable plastic bags which upon full vacuum melted/sealed the bag. The downside of this system was the limited opening size of both the canning jars (wide mouth standard) and canisters (larger but still limited) and that it had to plug into the wall.
The Twilling system canisters are far superior with more standard, food storage shape, reusable glass vessels and full size lids. These are much more convenient to get food into and seal than a wide mouth canning jar. The small “wand” format sealing device is also much more convenient to store and use. Additionally, it’s wireless and rechargeable so it doesn’t need to be plugged in or take up counter space to seal food. Have not used the included reusable plastic bags much but my preference would probably be the disposable one time use plastic bags instead of reusable. My feeling is getting the resealable bags fully clean inside and sanitized is not as easy as running a glass vessel thru the dishwasher. This to me is really the only downside of the product. Overall very happy with the Zwilling vacuum sealer. It’s a significant upgrade to the standard snapware glass food storage type products that don’t vacuum seal and over time with daily use, the snapping lids ultimately fail making it basically a disposable product. The system is a bit costlier than other countertop vacuum sealers but having the much more convenient vessel format is, to me, totally worth the price. Highly recommend to anyone tired of replacing the glass snapware type of products for food storage and who wants the benefit of the vacuum sealing to preserve freshness, reduce food waste, eliminate the cost of replacing canisters and ultimately save money in the long run.

I love the bags

It supports my no waste life style but with the added advantage of enabling to plan ahead to save time.
