No More Food Waste

Great, easy convenient product!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love how small and easy this product is! Instead of having a huge vacuum seal to store it’s just the small handheld item. I love that I can marinade meats in the vacuum seal baggies instead of wasting a plastic one every time!

Vacuum made easy!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really love the glass containers for my salads. It keeps it fresh and delicious, which is perfect, especially during the summer. The vaccine is so small, gentle, and quiet. It is actually quiet peaceful and relaxing to watch the air vacuumed out of the plastic bags.

Keeps produce surprisingly fresh

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I picked strawberries and kept it in the container, and 2 weeks later they were still fresh, whereas the ones I kept in the plastic basket got soft and mushy after just a few days. You have to make sure to seal well but it works wonders!!

This vacuum sealer works extremely well and can preserve food far longer than ordinary plastic wrap and zip lock bags. The containers are best for fragile foods (e.g. berries) that would be crushed (unless first frozen) if vacuumed in a bag. The bags are great for lettuce, sliced vegetables, cooked foods, deli meats, cheeses, avocado, etc. The hand-held device is very compact and easily stored in a drawer, so it doesn't occupy counter space. Yes, the containers and bags are a bit pricey; but are re-usable and will reduce wastage. Fresh blueberries in a sealed plastic container was good as new two weeks later. One trick I've discovered is wrapping up food in plastic wrap before inserting into the vacuum bag. It may feel like an extra step, but it keeps the bags cleaner as it doesn't directly come into contact with the food, and enables them to last longer for multiple uses.
