Utter Crap

The product is a complete worthless waste of money. The lids do not seal and the the tool that allegedly removes the air, takes about an hour to work. Complete crap

Usage seems intuitive enough but do not neglect to read the instructions esp parts about how the liquid cannot come into contact with the vacuum opening, or that food should be at or below room temperature before applying the vacuum. The instructions however were unclear on when to use the liquid barrier. Like should i only use it for the bags or can i also use it on the lids? also wish it came with more of the barriers (there was only one), and a container big enough for bananas. Still, immensely satisfying and easy to use. I’m always finding excuses to use it, even on things i know i will consume well within its prime.
I would recommend this to a friend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I charged the unit and went to use it for the first time and it isn't working. I have been on hold for 46 minutes and when I called it said my call would be answered in 2 minutes. Not a great first impression and to not get through to the company is madness. If it gets working or I find that I have a faulty product and I get it replaced and it works I will update my review...so far it is useless and my time is wasted.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

THE KITCHEN ESSENTIAL

This may be the most valuable addition to my kitchen. I spend a lot of money on produce only to watch it go bad in the frig before we can eat it. No more! Mixed greens go into the large glass container and last so much longer. No pulling out slimy greens in a few days. Blueberries, strawberries and other delicate fruits go into the smaller container. The sealing is so easy with the rechargeable pump. I've charged it twice since January and I use it multiple times a day. Hard veggies like carrots go into a small bag, because who likes slimy carrots! A handy little zipper helps me make sure I've closed it completely. I am freezing meat in these also. After reading a few comments about meat being too "smooshed", I decided to freeze steaks or chicken on a tray for 30 minutes and then put in the bag, perfect! No moldy cheese because it gets sealed in a bag too.
Happy to see extra bags and containers available on the website. There's also a wine sealer; how perfect is that!
Zwilling has developed an app that you can download to scan qr codes on each container which helps you organize your frig and freezer. A great tool when you're grocery shopping and not sure what you have at home. As a bonus, there are great recipes on this app too.

Excellent space-saving aver vacuum sealer!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After looking through dozens of options online and watching many reviews, we came across this vacuum sealer from Zwilling and immediately after looking at its size and the very important fact that the zipper bags are reusable, we were sold! We own several Zwilling products which we love and this one is exactly what you'd expect from them. We are really happy about this purchase!

Easy to use and saves space.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love how easy the vacuum sealer is to use. I bought it because I really didn't have the space for a more traditional vacuum sealer. It works pretty well and the large glass container kept my blueberries fresher for far longer than I expected them to keep. It also worked great with fried chicken keeping the breading from getting soggy in the fridge. I have also used the bags for deli meats etc and they worked quite well.
The smaller glass container seems to have a slight problem holding the seal. It seems to hold for anywhere from a couple of hours to a day. I don't have this problem with the larger glass container so I think perhaps I have a defective lid.
I have ordered more bags to stock up my freezer with pre-made doughs. I might order more glass containers for things like soup or more fresh berries.

Fresher food longer!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently purchased this item and I have to say that I am already very impressed! I have mainly used it to make fruits or produce last longer ans it does not disappoint! I especially love how small the device actually is. The glass containers are very high quality and I can tell that they will last in the long run! I also purchased additional containers (set of 3) and I would definitely recommend everyone to do so. Finally, I am very impressed with the app and the QR code feature! I don’t have to write on my containers and can just scan the code to figure out what I froze a while back. Overall, I highly recommend this product to everyone who wants to avoid going to the grocery store every week (especially during these difficult times)! Your food will taste fresher longer!!
