the phone, messages, email and calendar applications are much more complex and not nearly as functional as my old galaxy 5.

Extra long battery life

besides the long battery life. i love the way it stores my files by putting a small picture next to the file i want to open. makes it so much easier to find and open what i am looking for.

i have to say i was worried about changing to a samsung but i am pleasantly surprised. once i got it set up it's a breeze to use. i forgot how easy the buttons on the bottom are, the back button and the app close button, and their page off button. all in all they are so much easier to use. the size of the screen is fantastic and i pay so much less than any other i have had before and i think it's a better phone.
I would recommend this to a friend!

the storage is phenomenal, as well as the camera ,and the front camera is awesome, facial recognition and thumb print are spot on,and the screen is beautiful

The camera is the only good thing

granted i do think it is a beautiful phone. the only great thing about it is the camera. it takes amazing pictures. there are so many different options for the camera/video. but it lacks everywhere else. the performance is terrible. when i play my games, the lag incredibly. internet browsing is very slow. spelling corrections never work. i never had any of these issues with my note 8. in all honesty, i wish i would have just bought the 10.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

txt incompatible- Iphone

switched from iphone 7+. mostly happy with the change and the price. however, when someone sends out a photo, imoji, etc via text, does not allow for iphone style feedback of same.
