Used the grow light to move seedlings from the AeroGarden to hydroponic aquarium to allow for the start of new seeds. The plants did very well under the grow light and thriving in the garden now. The plants grown from seed are much bigger than those bought at the nursery.
I love these lights. There are lots of vegetables growing in my house and I tried a variety of light setups. I have multiple aerogardens but something I need to have in soil or I have growing in Mason Jars using Kratky system. I'm used light bulbs with high lumen and kelvin in clamp bulb holders. These lights are the best because they are versatile. If on the stand like this, the light can be rotated so that if the plant is too tall for under the light, the light can be focused vertically. I have a couple of rows of plants in soil and Kratky on a metal shelving unit. These lights come with hangers that attach from each corner to a central carrabiner. When the plant becomes too tall, the light can be tied directly to the shelf above using cord (macrame or twine). The height can be adjusted by raising or lowering the light with the cord. Currently I'm growing, inside in Maine in February, tomatoes, cucumbers, peas, beans, lettuce, peppers. Included are multiple varieties of micro tomatoes, minime cucumbers, Tom Thumb peas, strawberries from crowns, These lights make everything possible.

We purchased this light through a different site to save on S&H charges. That being said, the light arrived within a few days and assembly was easy. It adjusts to various heights, which is nice. We are growing our vegetables from seeds and needed an extra grow light. We have two Aerogardens (basic and bounty) and have been happy with them so we figured we’d be just as happy with this. We are! Although the width cannot be adjusted to accommodate wider trays, the adjustable light allows you to tilt the head back to shine the grow light onto the trays sitting outside of the light itself. We are considering on getting another as we like the light that much and it does the job well. Only negative is there is no timer. We solved that by using a timer we had and sitting it for 15 hours on and 9 hours off. That is the only reason for the four star and not five!

Bought two panels two months ago - one to replace the 18W tube light that came with another company's indoor grow setup (excellent 2x2 soil basin on wheels, but had a poor light) with this new light, our chard, spinach and lettuce are now growing beautifully! We pick them daily to go into our morning omelet and evening salads and we still have a hard time keeping up with the growth we are now getting. 2nd panel is being used to help seedlings along that we keep moving out of our Harvest setup until the weather is ready outside. Very happy with the product.
I like the light, it works well and I like the size. Its super lightweight, which is great. The disappointment is with the fact that there is no on/off switch or timer built in. We know the light is not going to be on 24/7 so this feature makes sense. I of course purchased a timer for it, but it would be nice if I didn't have to.
I also agree with other reviews when it comes to the legs/stand, they are super flimsy. I intend to hang it eventually and will see if this is a better set-up.
The legs are not stable and also the unit needs a timer. As long as you do not touch it. Then, it is fine. It can be adjusted in height.
This is my 2nd unit. I use it for my microgreens and it works well. I turn it on for 7 hours/day using an external timer. It comes with hanging rod for taller plant, but I have not used it.
It's already broken, just blinking. After only three months.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
