I took a point off because the legs are wobbly. The light itself is excellent. There is also a part included to hang the light over head from a hook should you choose to use the light that way

The plug into the electric socket get very hot after half an hour. Is it supposed to be that hot or is it defective?

The power adapter for the 45 Watt LED Grow Light Panel can get warm, similar to other high-power electronic devices. However, it is built to withstand the heat produced by the adapter built into that part of the power supply. Too bad it doesn’t have a timer like the gardens

It’s a great panel, but it doesn’t have a timer like the gardens, so I have to plug and unplug it. It is a definite miss with this product.

Versatile and causes plant happiness!

I have had this lamp for a few months now, and always wait a bit before I do a review to be sure all is okay. I bought this light for two reasons...1) to use for my Kratky jar plants and 2) because of the 45 watt strength of the lights. I am more than pleased. Everything that I planted is happy including the green onions that I re-sprout. The frame is a little wobbly, but not problem at all. Set it and forget it - and simple set up is just a few minutes. I have it connected to a plug-in timer. My only issue was that the hooks and wires weren't in the box, but since I wasn't hanging it at the time, that didn't matter. Now I'd like to hang it to cover more plants, but oh well. I'll figure out another way to do it. This grow lamp is versatile!

Our Plants Are Thriving

We have two of these units that we're using to grow both food and ornamentals in our dining. The lights themselves are fantastic; our plants are thriving under the light. Unfortunately, the stands are a little bit flimsy. The main issue is that the pedestal stands tend to slide away from each other at the bottom. The whole unit would be much sturdier if the pedestals were tied together in some way. If the lights themselves weren't as great as they are, I would give three stars; instead I gave four.

Plug power cord problem

I bought this product to grow some of my plants in soil and to start seeds in the late winter. Both lights can provide a nice bright light on a slightly wobbly stand. My problem is that one of power cords generates a weak light and the other provides a strong light but the adapter in the cord generatesa strong light but the power cord adapter gets very warm, though still touchable. I wonder if this is normal or if both cords need to be replaced.
