JUST LIKE THE ASSEMBLY LINE AT FORD!

I must say I did not think I would be this impressed with this kit. I have built the Aston Martin, Orange 1/8th Porsche, White 1/10 Porsche... and this impressed me more I think in overall fun of the build. So many ah-ha moments in the few functions and overall detailing.
Functions may be fewer than the 007 Aston, but dare say as good or better. For starters, the working steering is a huge step up in realism. Second, the axle lift mechanism is genius and foolproof operation [operates either direction, infinite adjustment of height (within the range), easy smooth operation.] And the detailing is so good, capturing the shape and elements so well. The muscle car mod 'add-ons' are bit extreme, but whew, that blower is cool. I do love the front cowl... gives it the Eleanor look.
Finally - the build experience was like assembling the vehicle at the factory. If you take breaks during the build process (I did a bag a night over a few days), each stopping stage is a pretty cool piece of display. Almost looking like the vehicle could be at a body shop getting restored or repaired.
All in all, totally worth it, and probably a valuable kit down the road since there are so many FORD nuts (not to mention Mustang heads!)

Bought this for Wifey, she got into building Lego a little while back and finds it therapeutic.
I saw the Mustang had become available & bought it as a present.
She was thrilled. Some hours later the Stang was complete.
Great bit of kit. a good size. Very impressed by it.

A real classic

This is the best of the Creator model cars, it's just superb if Lego made them in different colours I'd buy them too, it's just fantastic.
The Creator cars always have some interesting building techniques and this is no exception, its a very strong build and looks fantastic when complete, a true landmark set.
Please more of this!

Very Nice Addition to my collection

I've been playing with Legos since I was a kid. My kids have played with them, now my grandkids. I'm a big Mustang fan, so when I saw this kit I was quick to order it as soon as it was available. I didn't really pay attention to how long it took me. I only had a couple of times that I had to go back and verify location of something. I really like this build and love the optional parts. Color is great and while some complained about the stripes not lining up, I simply moved bricks around to make them look better. It's a brick model of a vehicle, if I expected everything to be perfectly smooth or aligned, I would have bought a plastic model. I'm super stoked to show it off and show the opening parts and details.

Wow wow wow... A beautiful piece of automotive wonder. I do hope to see more 1960s and 70s muscle in the future, keep them coming. This is an awesome addition to my vehicles collection. A total home run with this one. Well done Lego.

This is an amazing LEGO model. The detail is incredibly accurate. The shape of the body is very accurate. The build is very fun and challenging at the same time. There is very interesting building techniques used in this model. It is a very sturdy build. It is my new favorite LEGO set! I'm glad that LEGO has used 28 printed parts in this set. There are only a few stickers for the engine and license plates. My one criticism of this set is the price. I think $150 is a little high for this set. I would have like to have seen the retail price be in the $100-$120 range.

I took a loong time with this becouse I didn´t want to be like "it´s done" in a few hour. cool trick and simple things looked hard but easy. nice details and I love those doors strong feeling ones . now it´s hard to say which one is better looking stock or optional result both looks cool. even my older daughter wants one!
