Lego Creator Expert Ford Mustang

Excellent design with some interesting building techniques adopted. The finished product is highly detailed and the exterior is elegant and well-shaped. Some interesting functions have been incorporated which allow the rear of the vehicle to be raised and the front wheels to be steered right or left by turning the steering wheel. The customisable features are a good addition also. One small issue I have is that some of the patterns on the printed bricks included do not coincide well with each other and are misaligned. Other than that, the Ford Mustang exceeded my expectations.

Got mine yesterday at 930pm via FedEx. Night owl who stayed up and built it. What a refreshing change from the Aston-Martin debacle! My neighbor had one of these new back in 1967/68 high school (sorry, my car was a Plymouth Roadrunner and my best friends was a 440 Cuda). The designer did a great job of representing the design of the car with Lego bricks. How about more American muscle? Thanks, Lego. Great job!

This is one of my favorite expert car builds. I'm not really a fan of the Ford Mustang, but this model is really nice. I wish there was a supercar (ie Lamborghini, Ferrari, etc..) with the same amount of detail.

This is the most beautiful Lego set I've ever seen. Assembly was a substantial challenge as this is also the largest lot I've assembled, probably in my life. The only thing I wish Lego had done was make this kit available in multiple colors. I'd have liked this in green, too.

Hands down best set I own. The ford mustang is my absolute favorite car and this represents it perfectly weather you want it jacked up ready to shred the track or just nice and casual. The additions they give you to add on the car let you customize this masterpiece to perfection. The function where you can lift up the car in the back is awesome. This set is packed with details and functions. The doors open and the front two seats fold forward to access the back seats just like on the real car. The detailed engine looks fantastic and the steering wheel that allows you to turn the wheels is by far my favorite. They also made the front and the back of the car look extremely accurate to the real thing. The build does have a lot of technic but that doesn't take to long to build. The alternative license plates are pretty cool as well. The set is a relatively quick build but there are a couple parts that might take a while. This is a little pricey but if you can afford it it is definitely worth it. It looks amazing on display especially nest to the creator expert Aston martin which I also highly recommend. The set is not to be played with. It is meant to be a display piece. Also if you are worried about stickers don't be. The stripe down the middle and the stripes on the side are all printed pieces.

Great model of a classic Ford!

This was my first Lego set I’ve purchased and built in over 25 years. I grew up playing with Legos and I wanted to try a set again. I’ve been an avid Ford Mustang fan for as long as I can remember. When I saw this set I knew I had to get back into bricks.
The Lego Creator Expert title had me a little intimidated at first. After reviewing the detailed instructions and starting the build I began having great fun and enjoyment and soon felt great about my purchase decision. Long story short do not let the Lego Creator Expert title get in the way of your purchase decision. This was a great build and very fun at the same time!
The details of this car are phenomenal. For me, everything went together nearly flawlessly and I didn’t really have to second guess or rework any of my build. The car looks great and I have it as a display piece on my living room tv stand.
I feel very accomplished and happy with this build. Building this model has rekindled my desire to build with Lego’s again. I hope you enjoy the model as much as I do!

accurate build but had an issue with instructions

i havent bought a lego in a decade but this exact mustang is my dream car, i had to have it. the model is accurate and has great details. my only issue is the instructions, the blue pieces that makes up the exterior are hard to see on the instructions, if there is multiple blue pieces in one step its impossible to see each individual piece. the red outlines helped a little but i had to shine a flashlight on the instructions to see each individual blue piece in the step. it would be a good idea to outline the blue pieces like they do with the black brick. the actual model is perfect but its annoying to put together due to the poor visibility of the individual blue pieces on the instructions. no doubt worth the price and the designer should be very proud of the build and recieve a raise.
