Even from across the room this model is easily recognized as the classic Ford Mustang. Details are spot on. Always interesting build techniques in the creator models.

Impressive Mustang Lego Set

I also purchased this Mustang when it came out for VIP only. I love muscle cars and had to have it when I saw one of my favorite cars and in my favorite color. I thought it was priced right but it did live up to the expert level it states on the box but it is well worth the build time when you are done. I left mine stock but I did have a few moments where I was stumped. I didn't have any scratch or gap issues with mine but I was missing two Lego pieces. I did order them and Lego was very nice on the phone to deal with and I had my pieces, no questions asked, in less than a week so I could complete my set. I have many Star Wars sets I have put together and can't believe I am saying this, but the Mustang is my favorite. The designers knocked this one out of the park. Thanks!

Incredibly satisfying

This kit was so much fun to assemble! I loved watching the car slowly come together especially the highly detailed interior parts such as the engine block, dashboard, etc. Although you have to remove a portion of the roof to access the steering wheel, turning the steering wheel does actually turn the front wheels just like a real car and that is so cool. The manual tells us about how the original ‘67 Mustang was designed to be customizable so each owner can have their own version of the car. This is illustrated in the kit by allowing you to add optional souped up parts such as supercharger on the engine block, a special front bumper extension, rear spoiler, side exhaust pipes, and even a nitrous tank in the trunk so you can make any version of the Mustang that you want.

As my second build in over 15 years had a lot of fun with it (took me 3 days to build but that was because I had work and other things going on) some of blue stripes in the middle are off same with down by the doors but I really am not picky like other people on here and it looks freakin awesome

Despite being a really passionate Lego builder and a huge Lego fan, this is actually the first Lego set I've actually built solely for myself, but I definitely didn't regret this one. I've enjoyed he every single minute of 7 hours I've spent building this model for the first time. The model is so well detailed, as always expected from the Creator Expert category, and playability is great (although I keep it just for showcasing). I would recommend this model to anyone who looks for marvelous models for showcasing.

What an amazing set!

I first want to personally thank Mike Psiaki for leading the design of what I think is the best set Lego has ever made. As a Mustang owner, I really loved and appreciated the level of detail and amount that you can customize in the set. Each page of instructions was just one happy surprise after another! The only downside i can think of is the fact that the wheels and steering wheel don't have the mustang logo on it. They could have used the logo piece that went on the engine but no matter. Thank you for such an amazing set!
