The Most Enjoyable Build Yet!

This is my first review. I've done the Capitol Building, the Saturn V, and the London Bus, but this was by far the most enjoyable of the four of them to build and "play with" afterward. The steering works, the doors open, the trunk and hood open, the mirrors are clever. You can customize it with "bonus parts" at the end. I found myself marveling at the design as I was building. The finished product is fun to play with, even for a 53 year old. I bought this Mustang because it was the year of my birth.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Windshield does not stay in

When I was putting together the left door, the part that has the mirror on it when I was building that, it made the whole front windshield part game apart and I have read over the instructions over 20 times and I can not find out what the issue is. It’s taken me 2 weeks of still today trying to figure out why the door is breaking the windshield but overall good set!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Thanks for your review. I'm sorry to hear that you've experienced some frustration with the set. The best thing to do is to take apart not just the windshield, but the sections around it as well. If something's off there, it'll throw the windshield out of alignment.

Another fun build! The attention to detail is amazing! Love the engine and all the interiors of the car! And the fact you can upgrade it even more was a big plus. I eventually would like to turn this into a rc car one day! Lego did it again! So much fun in a small package!

Absolutely Fantastic set with QA problems

This is one of the best LEGO sets I've ever seen. So much functionality and it looks really awesome too. Lots of good piece. Options on how the set will turn out. Cool building techniques. Everything you want in a set.
However, the printed pieces (not the ones that require you apply a sticker) don't line up which looks really silly. Also the gigantic beautiful windshield pieces came with scratches.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Best Car Model Ever

What a wonderful job Lego did in developing this model.m Almost all the car models have jagged edges, while the Mustang's line are smooth and beautiful. Great job Lego!

A blast to build!

I built this over the course of 6-8 weeks (usually during a Sunday afternoon). I really enjoyed the build - part 4 was the toughest for me requiring me to rebuild multiple times to get it right, but nothing catastrophic. I only used the book for instructions which was part of the challenge.
At the end of the build, I built the engine mod, the nitrous tank, and the deck lid modifier. The only one I didn't include was the exhaust mod.
My husband loved the details from the opening doors, hood, deck lid, to being able to roll it. He got a huge kick out of the nitrous tank in the trunk. i liked all of that and building the seats. He was hoping there would be optional rims and tires available, but liked the ones that came with the set.
This is my first foray outside the architecture series, and no regrets! My next set is back into the architecture series unless he has me build one of his batman/joker sets I bought him many moons ago.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great detail on this classic muscle car

Every effort to make the model easy to build was put into this product. There were several different numbered bags which made finding the pieces much easier and allowed me to build the project in stages. I wanted to build each stage so that the pieces didn't get lost or moved. The instructions were clear and there were only a couple of places where it was a bit complex. If you take your time though it isn't that hard. One specific area that more difficult than most was when building the door hinges.

The model looks great and functions great. I think that the addition of optional modifications to the model was well thought out. The rear ride height adjustments are unique. Everyone I showed the model to liked it.

Suggestions
Just a couple of suggestions (and they are minor). Instead of a sticker for the rear view mirror, make the sticker reflective silver like a real mirror. The same goes for the side mirrors.
