Fun to build but feels cheap

I finished the Harry Potter Diagon Alley set a couple of months ago, and this set just felt cheap in comparison. The actual build process was a lot of fun, but the lego bricks themselves felt cheap, the colors weren't super vibrant, and the three main sections of the stadium don't fully lock into place. I'd recommend this for anyone who is looking for an enjoyable build, but not necessarily for someone who is looking for something to put out on display.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Out of all the Lego sets I have built this was probably my favorite. Not because of the amount of detail put into the set or features but because of most importantly the entire time I was building it, I felt like Lego was taking me to a place I will never get to see in person. Only getting to see it in picture or on tv doesn't do it justice and Lego helps prove it with this set. There are many aspects of the stadium I just didn't know existed until getting to put this set together and getting to read about it in the booklet. Lego has done a great job of making you feel like you are in the crowd cheering on all of the greats from Manchester glory. Now there are also some downsides to this set. First thing is the amount of stickers you have to put on. You would think for this price point that they would make all the pieces printed pieces but instead there are close to 50 stickers. To me that kind of makes the set feel a bit cheap in that you are having to put stickers on it like it is a race car from the Speed Champions series as opposed to the higher quality modular buildings. The other disappointing part of the build was I thought you would get to build the grass field but to my surprise it comes pre made in about 6 pieces. Would have been more enjoyable to make the checkerboard pattern with individual pieces but maybe I am knit picking at this point. Overall this is a great build but do keep in mind it isn't perfect and their are some drawbacks when you pay this kind of money for a set.

A must for any Man U fan or a fan of football.

This kit was an awesome experience for a supporter who has had the pleasure of visiting the hallowed ground. It has beautiful detail and with an additional lighting kit from Light my Bricks the ground comes to life. This is a must have kit for any Fan or Supporter of Manchester United or a stadium nerd. Luckily I am both.

I'm very impressed with the amount of detail in this stadium. This stadium has everything. On the pitch, it has the players tunnel, the seats where the gaffer and the players sit. All of the major banners including (Sir Alex 26 Years) and (Flowers of Manchester) among others. They have the Munich clock and even have the team bus parked outside of the Stretford End. Definitely a great buy for any football supporter and a MUST have for any Manchester United supporter. GGMU

Great, steady build and sharp looking

I did this over a period of 2 weeks doing a section (package) a day to enjoy the process. Great build and not too difficult. A little bit of a pain the extenders on, but came out great. Not to mention it seems that it can be transported over a distance if needed. A different look for legos. Hope they keep on making kits like this and things not necessarily tied to a specific movie or television series.
I would recommend this to a friend!

My son just opened this set. We are so disappointed and unhappy - the set has stickers. Next time charge a little more and print the bricks.

Neat concept, but too small

As a sports fan and longtime Lego collector, I was excited to purchase this set. However, it is much smaller than I expected. It is also lacking features of a soccer stadium such as players, a soccer ball, and scoreboard. I think including these elements would have brought it more to life.
On a positive note, the set is sturdy and collapsable. It is highly detailed with many features of the Manchester United stadium. I hope Lego will come out with more sets like this in the future.

Uhh were do I start? This set was great, the build experience was fun, but there was some parts were it felt like deja vu, but other than that, its a good display piece, I don't watch sports myself but I did get the set cause it looked cool, and it looks better in person, This thing is HUGE!
