Very nice detail. Hats off to the designers that put this set together. If you liked the movie, then your gonna love this car.
Only downside was the square piece for the roof not having a smooth texture like the rest of the car, it kinda stands out. I may order a replacement piece and try to buff it out lol.

Very entertaining build

This was the first Lego I decided to build. I had a ton of fun building and setting this up. Quality is overall great, instructions are easy to follow, and its overall size is pretty big. The spinning display stand definitely showcases the batmobile nicely. I would highly suggest this to anyone.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My nephew and I had built a lego Lamborghini a while back with half the pieces and had a blast. This one was more challenging, and even more fun. He keeps both in his room and are really cool decor.

First off, I am truthfully not a huge Batman fan. Don’t dislike him, but just not interested. However, after seeing videos and pictures of this set, I really wanted it from a Lego fan perspective. I was not disappointed with it and was honestly probably the most enjoyable build of all sets I own.
Each numbered bag is standalone, meaning there are no multiples per number. This helped create a more organized build process without excess pieces.
Going from a relatively thin technic frame to adding on the final exterior pieces to culminate into a beefy set was probably what I enjoyed most. The overall set is large and very detailed. Many of the lines and angles look satisfying and the way some of the build sections were done are pretty interesting. The way the cockpit opens works very well and is super accurate to the original car.
I have not actually seen the 1989 film, but I could not pass this set up and I am glad I got it. For around 3300 pieces and how big the result is, it is absolutely worth the price tag and a better deal than most. If you want a display piece for your Batman collection, this is it.

A great set for the fan of the 1989 Batman movie to purchase or receive as a gift. While challenging, for those that like mental exercises and puzzles, this is a great set to work on and go to your favorite mental relaxation space. I recommend this set for patient LEGO builders and those that want to add to their Batman/DC Comics collection.

UCS 1989 Batmobile

First off, hats off to the designers on this. They are clearly meticulous Tim Burton Batman fans. The attention to detail is unparalleled. The techniques used to create some of the geometry in this thing, is simply mind blowing. I learned a lot of dirty new tricks building this. That being said, it is not an easy build, so don't buy it for your precocious 6 year old. They will have a tantrum. But for the rest of you AFOL's out there, this packs a heavy punch, and looks marvelous. Cheers, and thanks.
