Best LEGO set ever!!!

This set was a truly amazing build experience. It’s not often that I learn new build techniques from official LEGO sets anymore. This set is the exception. I have never been more satisfied with a LEGO purchase. It looks amazing from every angle and still brings me joy! Worth every penny.
I would recommend this to a friend!

This is my favorite set by far to date and I loved every single minute of the building process. There is some challenging technic parts in it so it never got boring to build. Rate 10/10

So many unusual but "legal" techniques are used throughout this build that I was never bored and the end result is simply amazing. A friend walked in and saw the 1989 Batmobile and Batwing next to each other and said she felt like she was in a museum... She was pulling my chain, but that is truly the impact they have. This thing is HUGE, SOLID, and LEGIT. If you saw Batman in the theater in 1989 you will marvel at this model every time you look at it! I am just waiting for my wife to tell me to get it and the Batwing off the dining room table! They can stay there forever as far as I am concerned. A shelf and wall spot above are in order.
FYI: Fingerprint magnets both.

Challenging but satisfying

I always loved this version of the Batmobile and Lego has done an amazing job at translating such a curvy design out of Lego bricks. It was a tough build in parts. Took me a week of evenings but I must say it was really fun. And unlike the Tumbler batmobile, this one feels really solid when finished.
As a lot of the bad reviews on here have stated, I too was missing parts in the bags. In my case, the missing pieces were close to the end and so after Lego sent them to me I could just pop them on.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Very Cool design

When I saw this vehicle, I wondered how the Lego designers would create the complex curves, but they did! The model looks great finished.
The cockpit detailing is great and the opening and closing canopy is excellent. And the designers even connected the front wheels to the steering wheel so the wheels can turn.
I like how the model is displayed on a turntable with the sticker/ sign, which makes it easy to display it in another direction.

The pop-up machine guns are a nice detail, but I would have preferred the cover-panel to be attached to the guns instead of the car body. Even though the cover-panels attach with 1 stud, they're locked enough so the guns can't go up and down when the rear engine in turned.
I'd advise people to follow the directions carefully. There was one step to add a 1x2 brick with a hole next to another brick. I swapped the bricks and later found that a peg was supposed to go into the hole. But by that point, the pieces I needed to swap were now wrapped inside other pieces, so it took a bit of time to re-arrange.
Other than that, you can usually figure out the not-so-clear instructions by comparing where a piece should on the other side of the car.

I would highly recommend this to any Batman fan or fan of larger builds. It took me a few days to complete and the instructions were very straightforward. If you're thinking this is above your skill level it probably isn't. It's very sturdy and looks great. No complaints.
