I saw this beauty and knew I just had to have it. I showed a few friends because "look how cool this is!" And one of them bought it for me for Christmas. It's just as beautiful in person and a fairly simple build with only one point that had me back tracking. I would highly recommend this to anyone that's looking for a striking ornament with a twist. It's now on my desk at work.
It took around fifteen hours total to build but that's with the distraction of the holiday period and the dogs insistence that he "help".
I would recommend this to a friend!

This is my favorite set i have ever bought! it was so fun to bulid and so cool to look at, I loved this set so much that i bought it the day it came out, totaly worth it!

Pretty great set

This was a pretty fun, if a little tedious, build. The piece count is a bit skewed, since 234 of them are the little blue pieces used to simulate water and around 100 small clear pieces are used to build the bottom of the bottle (bottom as in, if it were standing up like a normal bottle). The rest of the bottle was a really fun build and came together really well, and while the ship is small it fits really well in the bottle. The only other complaint I have is it's difficult to evenly distribute the small blue water pieces between the 4 sections, but it's understandable given the pieces needed to build the bottle formed "walls" separating the front, back and each side of the ship. The highlight is the end result, as it just looks really great as a display.

Best Lego Ideas on shelves !

It is, for my personal opinion, the best Lego Ideas currently on shelves. The display value of the set is just tremendous. Each and every persons that enter the room are just amazed by the beauty of the built. As a collector, I do not "play" with my Lego, I build them and display them, so I am not really concerned by the lack of playability of the set, cause it is more like to become a decoration, a home decor accent.
I would recommend this to a friend!

This was a fun build that took me a little while. I do hope that this series continues with builds like this one that are highly unique in comparison to other builds in the same price range. This is complicated enough to offer a challenge without being frustrating.
