Love this pitcher, but really wish I could get filters locally.

GREAT company, water and filter, TERRIBLE pitcher
on January 27, 2024

This is the 2nd pitcher I had received from Lifestraw. I had to have a replacement one due to the pitcher leaking at the seam. This one has done the exact same thing. Admirable company, and the water is filtered great, but that pitcher needs a redesign. Won’t be getting another one until that occurs.
Everyone should support this company’s myriad other products, though!!

Best Filter Ever

No regrets buying this filter. Truly cannot drink any other water because the taste pales in comparison to LifeStraw!

Great tasting water

Really great filter pitcher. Water tastes fantastic- my tap water has a creamy taste without filtering. Kind of a pain to clean. I wish the flap lid was removable to get into the nooks and crannies, it's very hard to clean. I've had the pitcher for over a year and it's been great in every other way.

Loved it at first, but water has a fishy smell
on January 29, 2024

I used to have a Brita and ended getting this as a gift over Christmas. I loved it at first because the water had no taste ajd was working great. However, after leaving water in there over the week, I noticed my water bottle had a fish tank smell to it. This has never happened to my Brita filtered water and I thought it was my bottle at first. But after I cleaned it and the pitcher, a week later the smell just came back. I’m not sure if anyone else is having this problem. The water is not stagnant as I refill my water bottle multiple times a day. I’ve only used this for three ish weeks, so I don’t think it’s the filters problem.

I’ve had two so far and I hate it.

My first one cracked so the replaced mine and the second one cracked on the bottom all within 3 months. I’ve had a britta and it was made more durable and had it over 2 years and never had a problem I wanted a new nicer look and thought I’d go with this but the outer shell is made cheap and keeps cracking on the bottom with these little micro cracks and the water leaks through.

Tastes great and clean

I'm so glad I switched from my other brand filter pitcher to the LifeStraw one. This one filters out way more than the Brita. I do have to use two hands to pour it when it's full, because it's heavy, but it's worth it. I change to a replacement filter when I notice the taste is different. I use it for myself and my cats' water.

Packaging
on February 1, 2024

I received my 7-cup water pitcher in an extremely damaged box including the 3 filter boxes. Not what I was expecting for presentation. Makes me wonder about the integrity of the product if packaging is so poor.
