Quality not what it was

I’ve been buying for myself and my family and telling my friends about lifestraw for a few years now, not just for the mission but also the actual filter product which is clearly superior to other filters. We have bought 2 glass and multiple plastic. I avoid buying plastic but both glass pitchers broke fairly quickly in the kitchen.
However in the past our plastic pitchers lasted a few years and we replaced because we couldn’t clean them that well after a few years.
So now we have two plastic in our kitchen - one we bought last year on Black Friday and another we bought more recently. Both pitchers are leaking. And not a small leak - we need to keep them in the sink it’s so much water. It’s a real bummer.
I really want this company to be successful but you need to figure out why the newer pitchers are leaking. It seems to be from the bottom but we can’t really tell.

We purchased two of these last November as they were everything we were looking for in a filtered pitcher. Unfortunately, one began leaking from the bottom in June and the company was great about replacing it. I love their vision and their products. We also purchased the water bottles and straws.

Needs new pitcher design

The value it can hold on the filter reservoir is much much smaller than the actual pitcher. It also mold extremely fast within the silicon and on the stop of the inside of the flap.

LifeStraw Home turn Water into Amazing Tasting Water

My community utilizes well water - which, according to the water management company, meets all of the applicable requirements for drinking water. However, the taste is simply not the best, in my opinion. I've tried frequently changing the refrigerator filter with noticeable changes. Then enters LifeStraw...no more odd tasting water that I have to chug down! To set up the Home container was easy. The packaging is A+ (who doesn't love wonderfully looking packaging). But more important, it does what it taste is does and I am so happy to have solved a 3-year problem.

So i spend summers at my parents cottage which is well water from a bay. We have spent 30 years carrying jugs of water and finally decided to give it a try. We have some filters set up but even with water that smells this filter got rid of it and gives us reassurance we are drinking clean crisp water! It will be interesting to see how long the filters last but its seasonal so would be happy to buy a year filter pack every summer!

Great tasting water!

The pitcher and filters arrived in a timely manner. After reading instructions and washing all but the filter, I filled the pitcher, put it in the frig and waited. Once the water was filtered and cold, there was no chemical taste or smell. I’m really thankful that it works so well. However, before I removed the lid to wash the pitcher, I noticed a crack in the rim of the filter. When I removed the lid, the plastic piece fell off. I decided not to go through the hassle of returning it because the broken part doesn’t effect the workings of the filter. LifeStraw ought to consider a redesign of the lid. It is difficult to remove. It was most likely put on with too much force when it was packaged. In all, I’m very pleased with the pitcher and the great tasting, cleaner water!

I bouvht the Life Straw

I bouvht the Life Straw water bottle years ago for international travel, and works great.
When I found out about forever chemicals in the nation's water systems I immediately ordered the LifeStraw home pitcher knowing it will filter those chemicals also.
I am very happy with its performance, and having clean water.
