Wanted to love it so much, major design flaw

I bought one of these pitchers and loved it, after about 7-8 months the spout started leaking. It started as a tiny drip drip but then got much worse. I had to keep the pitcher over the sink. I reached out to lifestraw and they sent another one to me, they were great. But this second pitcher has another defect with the spout. From the first pour the water comes out so slow that it takes about 45 seconds to fill a glass of water. I didn’t have the heart to call in again and ask for a third pitcher because of this faulty spout. Wanted to love this pitcher so much but there’s some kind of problem with the design. We drink too much water to buy the pourable pitcher. Not sure what I’m going to do next. I practice my daily patience while I stand and watch the tiniest trickle of water fill my glass.

Love the look and convenience of having a counter top water filter. The only problem I have encountered is that the water comes out really slowly, so if your needing to fill a large water bottle it will take a longer time than the regular pitcher.

Pouring Mechanism is Awful

I'm giving this review three stars because the filtering system is amazing and I can taste the difference, however, the pouring mechanism on this thing is awful. You push the button which hardly opens the flap so the water comes out so slow. I don't understand if I just have a defective model that has a spout that doesn't open up like others but it takes 5+ minutes to fill up our water bottles depending on their size with how slow this thing pours out. And you can't pour the filtered water out from the top because the front and back have holes so unless you're scooping out the water with a cup by hand to get more at once, the spout is the only option. Would love to hear from customer service. Maybe I did get a defective model where the spout is smaller than usual.

Better than a Brita!!!

This is the first water pitcher we’ve had in 15 years! We like the model of the company so decided to try!
Water tastes amazing, fits well in our fridge and is very sleek in design! We had an issue with ours at first and they were very quick to rectify. Love this product!

Hi,
We like this pitcher and have 2 suggestions for improvement.
1. Make the handle more center to gravity. When full, it's a bit unbalanced and difficult for a smaller person to pour.
2. Fill flap on the top needs some type of way to fill without spraying water all over. Not sure the solution, we have your countertop filter, and though we have issues with the spigot leaking, the fill top has a slide door. May be a solution for the pitcher?

everything got here in great condition, I love these products and helping out a small business. every time people question my water bottle I share its purpose and even offer to send them the link to your website. I also love how informative the website is, like everything the filter does, what's it made of, etc. I don't know 1/2 of the bad stuff im protected from by your filter but im just glad im protected, thank u guys, love you!
