Who can wait this long for a cup of water? Useless

I bought the LifeStraw pitcher as a replacement to my Brita. I was aware that the filtering process was slower, but had no idea that it is so slow to make it unusable. Takes more than 40 minutes to refill the pitcher, one cup at a time (which I use to fill my water bottle for the day) - who has time for that? Useless product.

Large pitcher only half full

I ordered the counter home pitcher. The thing that puzzles me is the container is large but it seems to stop filling it about half way full. I'd like to have it fuller because i use a lot of water for tea and coffee.

Replaced my old filter and now my water tastes weird, almost like plastic. How is this making my water better?

I purchased two Life Straw 7cup. . . . one for each of my sons and their families. I have asked them to let me know how they like them. I was sold when I read that they filtered out microplastics! Sorry I cannot be more explicit!

Does not improve taste. This is a big disappointment. Setup was difficult. Directions were confusing… way too much packaging materials to deal with…and the parts fit together so tightly it was concerning that something might break. The flap on top where water enters: awkward to hold open, which seems necessary as I’m not filling from tap (no indoor plumbing) but pouring from jug which I fill from house up hill. Not a big issue but always wonder if I’m adding dirt each time I try to open the flap & hold it open to pour. Never quite sure how full to fill it in order for untreated water not to mix w/treated water while pouring into containers.

Refreshing

This pitcher does an excellent job of filtering out the smell and taste of chlorine from my city water. I appreciate that it also goes a step above other brands in filtering out bacteria and offering glass pitchers as an option. The water tastes clear and refreshing. Saves a lot of $ on bottled and is so much better for the environment.

I haven’t really noticed a difference, and sometimes the water tastes like carbon. .
