The spout drips a bit

The spout drips a bit after pouring. The seal may not be tight enough as water gets in between the body of the dispenser and the white filter basin. The “handles” should be closed plastic so there are no sharp edges where your hands hold the product when moving it to and from the refrigerator. Thanks.

Weird taste after a few weeks

I’m actually concerned drinking from this. We liked it for the first few weeks. It was so nice to stop drinking out of plastic water bottles. All of a sudden we both noticed the water tasted really strange. Almost like soap but couldn’t put our finger on it. I dumped the water and refilled a bunch of times. Tried it again and still taste so bad! I’m scared I’m drinking something from the carbon filter??? I don’t know. If I could get a replacement that would be ideal. I hope it’s a fluke. I really liked it at first and now I can stand to drink it. Leaves a horrible taste in my mouth. What could this be? Tried water straight from that tap and it tastes way better.

Amazing filtration system. The water tastes so clean and the filter is easy to install. I love how long it lasts. I’ve been telling others about the options with lifestraw and look forward to picking up a personal daily bottle soon. Great products!

The quality of the water is drastically improved with these filters. The filtration time is slow, which took it down to four stars. Simple and easy product, good value for a year’s worth of replacement

Only lasted a year

I loved this pitcher. It was easy to keep filled and made the water taste great. Unfortunately the product has caused water damage in my kitchen due to a slow, steady leak from the spout part. It started off as a drip that could be soaked up by keeping a rag under the spout in the fridge. Over time the leak has gotten worse. If I go out of town for the weekend I have to take the whole thing out or it will be all over my kitchen by the time I’m back. It’s a shame, I really loved this pitcher.

Works, but slow tap

Love lifestraw products, and thought the dispenser filter would be great. And it is! Except the tap on it is so so so slow to dispense water. My pur filter can dispense 24oz of water in about 15 seconds. It takes well over a minute of pouring to get that amount out of the lifestraw.
If they could improve upon the tap, this would easily be 5 stars. The water tastes great, the filters last a long time, and it’s otherwise overall a great product.
