LifeStraw Home turn Water into Amazing Tasting Water

My community utilizes well water - which, according to the water management company, meets all of the applicable requirements for drinking water. However, the taste is simply not the best, in my opinion. I've tried frequently changing the refrigerator filter with noticeable changes. Then enters LifeStraw...no more odd tasting water that I have to chug down! To set up the Home container was easy. The packaging is A+ (who doesn't love wonderfully looking packaging). But more important, it does what it taste is does and I am so happy to have solved a 3-year problem.

Great product, but it leaks after time

Bought this a year ago and have loved how clean our water tastes. However, in the past month it started leaking from the spout, it started as a minor drip but now the whole container will empty overnight if we leave it filled. I think the problem comes from the seal of the spout and it doesn’t look like they’ve changed design since. I reached out to customer service but they never got back to me.

we have well water which which has a very good safety profile, but I have not had it tested for pfas yet. I encountered your co. by searching for water filtering systems which have a tested track record for doing this.
I was very impressed with your products and your dedication to humanitarian philosophy. I felt your lifestraw home filter would be an effective, relatively inexpensive, fast and easy method of dealing with potential pfas contaimination. Much to my delight, the water from the lifestraw filter (to me, not my wife) tastes even better and has great mouth feel. Thanks for your concern about ourworld wide problems !

The first time I used

The first time I used this filter, the taste was great (best I ever had for water filters). The replacement filter is the opposite: It leaves a bad taste. I am not sure if the hollow fiber membrane filter or the carbon filter is causing the bad taste or both. I changed carbon filter after a couple of days but there is still an unpleasant taste.
I am disappointed.

We had received a faulty filter membrane at first, but as soon as I reached out to customer service, they were amazing and immediately replied with a promise to send a new membrane free of charge. Now our filter works great and we love it!

The best water

I love that there is no taste to the water that comes out of this! I've used other home filters, and there's a "filtered water" taste, which is usually better than most cities' tap. With this dispenser, it's the purest water I've been able to have at home without a reverse osmosis system. It is easy to use, looks nice on the counter, and several people have asked where we got it from. The sliding top is convenient for refilling.

So i spend summers at my parents cottage which is well water from a bay. We have spent 30 years carrying jugs of water and finally decided to give it a try. We have some filters set up but even with water that smells this filter got rid of it and gives us reassurance we are drinking clean crisp water! It will be interesting to see how long the filters last but its seasonal so would be happy to buy a year filter pack every summer!
