I returned the product, a ten cup water filter, because I could not use it. I found it very, very difficult to unscrew the caps, and I needed both hands to pour water because it hurt my wrists to use one hand, given the bottom heavy weight when filled. I also found that no matter what I did, the spout did not pour cleanly, there was always a dribble next to the main stream of water, and this made a mess. I am 70 years old but not feeble and have no problems using my large Brita filter. I am sorry this plastic-filtering system did not work for me. This is the second time I am submitting this review because you asked again.

I like the effectiveness of the filtration but TWO plastic pitchers have leaked. I am going to try a glass replacement in the smaller size.

Fresh, clean water

About a month ago, I purchased the Lifestraw Home water dispenser with replacement filters. Previously, my drinking water came from my refrigerator water filtration system. But after reading a recent article about the level of chemical and other contaminants in our drinking water systems (prescription meds, heavy metals, micro plastics, viruses, etc) and the limited capabilities of my refrigerator water filter to remove those contaminants, I decided to try the Lifestraw Home water filtration system because it has been tested and shown to remove those contaminants from water. The idea of providing fresh water to a child in need through the cost of my purchase was an added bonus. After I received my product and washed the components according to the instructions, it was ready to use. I set it up and filled the container with water from my faucet, letting it drain through the filter to the main storage container overnight. The next morning, I tasted the filtered water and it was the cleanest, purest, most refreshing water I’ve tasted since I was a young girl who would retrieve our drinking water from a freshwater spring! This has become my only source of water for cooking and drinking, even my dogs‘ drinking water comes from this system (and they drink more water now than before - they taste the difference too)! I think I am going to give the Lifestraw Home filtration system as a gift to my family members because no one needs to ingest contaminants in their water. Thanks Lifestraw for inventing this filtration system and for being on mission to provide clean drinking water to the world population!

Cracks super easily

The product is works well and the water is super clean. Cracks on the bottom very easily even after being gentle, I’ve had a replacement already and the new one is already cracking.

New life new dispenser

I love the way this water dispenser filters and cleans the water. Unlike any other filtrations I’ve bought. I do a lot of research before buying and this was a wonderful product. The first one I bought had issues with the tab leaking all over, but Life straw stands behind their products and I received a replacement. It seems to be doing well. Grateful to have it again to use.
