It leaks

I believe that the filter is good - I used a portable one while hiking the Grand Canyon and came out in good health! I like the large size of the one I bought (several liters) for home use, but unfortunately it leaked all over my refrigerator, creating quite a mess. I made sure that the spigot valve was tight and tried again with more water, but the same happened every time. This particular one is defective. I will seek out a refund or replacement; I just have not gotten to it yet. Great product, but some quality-control issues, apparently.

I returned the product, a ten cup water filter, because I could not use it. I found it very, very difficult to unscrew the caps, and I needed both hands to pour water because it hurt my wrists to use one hand, given the bottom heavy weight when filled. I also found that no matter what I did, the spout did not pour cleanly, there was always a dribble next to the main stream of water, and this made a mess. I am 70 years old but not feeble and have no problems using my large Brita filter. I am sorry this plastic-filtering system did not work for me.

I recently purchased the LifeStraw 10 cup pitcher at the recommendation of a friend. I love what LifeStraw stands for, and I was spending way too much on water delivery…so I decided, time to make a change. Water taste great! Highly recommend!

Perfect size for keeping inside our fridge! Filters the water to be very clear, way better than our old Brita pitcher. Overall, I'm very happy with this!

The combination filters are excellent. The shape of the pitcher is counter worthy and fits in fridge without taking up huge footprint. Recommended.
