I bought this a month ago and have enjoyed the filtered water for myself and family. However, I would not recommend this for a large family. If used only for drinking, the amount used would limit the life of the charcoal filter significantly. I use this for both drinking and cooking. In other words it's not ment for high volume like my family of six.

Superior to any filter I’ve tried

Obviously this is the most beautiful water filter out there... We have no shame putting it on the table when we’re hosting a dinner party which is nice! But, what we really love is the fact that it is the only filter that removes parasites, bacteria AND significantly reduces lead and micro plastics. It’s sad we even have to THINK about microplastics in our water sources, but the reality is they’re everywhere now. We also have knocked the filter against the side of the sink a few times and have had no breakage issues at all. All the function and style... Very happy with it!

Our office city water now tastes remarkably better after a few weeks using the LifeStraw Home! The carafe was much taller then expected, but is very well made and aesthetically pleasing. Best of all this company gives back and and for every purchase provides donations of safe water to those who need it around the world.

I have owned many LifeStraw products in the past. I love this pitcher for many reasons ... LifeStraw quality ... the perfect weight of the pitcher, its shape and design and its elegance. Water comes out amazing The only down side is having to do multiple put water in and wait to filter to fill up pitcher. I don't mind. Also a full pitcher of water is my goal to drink at minimum each day. I highly recommend.

We’ve had the Life Straw pitcher in our home for about a month, and we don’t know how we lived so long without it. You can literally taste the difference with each sip (because there is NO taste...it’s just pure, clean water).
