Almost Perfect

In terms of the filtration, water quality and flavor, this pitcher is it. Coming from using the Brita equivalent with the Longlast filters, this water taste so much better. The only reason this is not 5 stars is the spout design that actually releases the water should be more similar to the Britas. I use a 32oz hydro flask and home and store the dispenser in the fridge so its more helpful if it was an actual valve rather than the design that is currently utilized on the lifestraw dispenser. Especially when you want to use filtered water for things requiring much larger volumes of water, not have a spout that can keep itself open is super annoying and a problem this dispenser should not have.

Straw Home 7 -Cup is beautiful, I can nearly fill up the filter and then pour filtered water immediately without mixing in the unfiltered water. The water tastes so much better than other filtering systems. I avoid using expensive bottled water that clogs the planet with plastic and unconscionably drains our aquifers. I appreciate purchasing products from an American business, and appreciate the water filter donation mission.

It’s only really really slow the first day

I was hugely concerned when I saw how slow it was after rinsing the filter. It doesn’t stay that way, it speeds up. LifeStraw should mention that in the instructions. You do have to add water a few times for a full container, but that’s why it’s so visually appealing as well, so I’m fine with the trade-off as it will be sitting in view. It filters faster at the beginning if you submerge and soak the round filter for an hour+, then do the minute faucet rinse. Install and you’re perfect! Love the quality and attention to detail of the product, and that it removes microplastics. Men, sperm rates have fallen by 50% worldwide since the introduction of Tupperware, and they affect female hormones as well. It’s a top notch filtration system, I have one for the house, one for work.

I have owned a Brita before and considered a Berkey filter, but had not heard of this until recently. I am very impressed with how easy the LifeStraw Home Dispenser is to fill and use, as well as the great taste. I feel much better about drinking the filtered water.

I love my new water pitcher…of course I can’t tell if it REALLY is blocking lead and micro plastics… but I will assume at this point that it does block lead and plastic… will be ordering more filters soon… only complaint is not having an 800 # to be able to ask a question to a real person… some questions about which filters to reorder
