Good but.. reconsider if getting 10-cup

Its great! love the design. But I wish I got the 7-cup instead of the 10-cup.
I thought the more it holds the less amount of times to fill up. But truthfully it just gets too heavy to comfortably pour a full 10 cup pitcher. And the size is just a little too big in my space where I think "yea, i couldve done with 3 less cups"
Overall its nice. If something happens to this one or when it wears out, ill be back at lifestraw but for a smaller size.

Seems to be a great filter but ....

Seems to be a great filter. Love the look. However, Am I the only one who thinks the filtered water dispenses so SLOW? It seems like it takes me a whole minute to fill my cup.

A great gift!

It's awesome. Gave it to my parents as a Christmas gift and they love it. They stopped drinking bottled water and now use the Lifestraw.

Love it but probably could've gotten the regular size

We bought the 10 cup pitcher - we love it though we realized we probably didn't need the bigger size. We never quite fill it up all the way because it gets too heavy. I almost want the handle to be bigger so it's more ergonomic.
But overall, we're loving it! It's a nice step up from our Brita pitcher. We hated the huge filters so this is a great upgrade. The white color is really sleek and minimalist and the silicone base makes it even cooler. We feel more reassured about the quality and safety of the water we're drinking.

We bought this to replace our Pur filter and Britta. I have never tasted such amazingly smooth and fresh water in my life. I started filling up water bottles with this filtered water because it is that great!!

Due to anxieties around water lately, I was severely dehydrated for about a month. I'm really confident in the Lifestraw's filtration, and without doing any math it seems rather cost efficient compared to other filters that do considerably less, like the Brita or Zero filters. Lifestraw Home has two filters, one of which is replaced bimonthly the other annually. Though I was initially pleased with their commitment to climate, I would like to see improvements. I wish glass the glass model were more affordable due to its infinite recyclability. They clearly prioritize profits over the planet hear, though their plastic models are not nearly as harmful as others. Definitely a top option if you are looking critically at your water filters.

Filter works well but is small & gets dirty inside easily

I love the idea of this filter. But the fact that you can't clean out the inside with soap at all (as mentioned in the instructions - I accidentally did it once and the water filtered through tasted like soap for days) means the inside gets discolored from the water. This is compared to most other filters, which can be completely cleaned with soap & sanitized. You can clean the outside plastic part, but not the inside white part, and that really sucks. On top of that, every time you pour water out you have to fill it up because it takes so little water. It's such a cute and aesthetically pleasing water jug, I wish the whole system worked better.

If you find the inside of the housing becoming discolored easily, it could be a buildup of minerals in your water.
We would recommend cleaning this more often, but the filters must be removed first before cleaning the housing with soap.
