Our coffee machine is finally happy & well behaved!

We live in the country with a well, a well pump, and muddy water even though we have a water filter. The coffee machine does not like micro-muddy water. By using the Lifestraw 10-cup filter for the coffee machine (& our drinking water), we have improved our coffee/tea, improved the way our coffee machine works (no more brown water in the reservoir, no more clogging of the inner workings), and improved our coffee ? Tea (no more muddy taste). Very much a win.

Quality and Size Matters

Really quality product. Love the large capacity vessel and easy to change filters. Water tastes great and easy to use. The stand is a plus for filling water bottles as it allows for space to fill within being at the sink. Well done!

So far- great!

I’ve only had this dispenser for a short time but so far I love it. I keep it on the top shelf in my fridge and actually like the dispenser button on the front. I didn’t see how it would work since it’s so close to the bottom but the water dispenses at an angle so no problem. No drips. Water tastes great - clean and being in the fridge it’s super cold. I would recommend this dispenser.

Pretty great

I've been using it for a few weeks and it works great. It holds a generous amount of water and filters quickly. The spout drips occasionally after you pour a glass so if you're going to keep it on the counter you'll need to be mindful of that. Otherwise it's perfect.

Design flaws - would not buy again

The spout drips when not in use due to water pooling in the bottom part of it - the fact that the water pools there after use is also not great, as it presumably collects bacteria/ dust particles. The slider (attached to the removeable top) is not removeable itself - there's no way to slide it out completely to clean it. After 8 months of use, mine has a bit of build-up on it that I'm not able to completely clean.
Overall the water tastes great and LifeStraw seems like a good company so I will consider other products from them. But I would not buy this again nor would I recommend it to others unless the mentioned design flaws are not a concern to you

Big improvement from tap water. Pitcher feels very sturdy and holds plenty of water.

Sadly disappointed

I bought a Lifestraw 7 cup plastic pítcher, realized after using it for a few months it was leaking from the bottom. I checked the water purity with a water tester which showed tap water and the water in pitcher read the same, even after putting in a new filter. I then bought a new 7cup glass pitcher, again assembled it according to the directions. Once again tested the water in the pitcher and the tap water, again same reading I am on the automatic filter renewal and want to cancel that plan. I like the idea of the pitcher but it does not filter the water Please remove me from the automatic filter plan :(

Filter could be better, but very good for the price.

I really like the filter. We are on a well and the water not only tastes better, but the occasional sulfur smell is gone as well. One question…the filter sits in the water once it runs thru (can only run 1 gl at a time) does that not risk leaching contaminants back into the water? One criticism…the drain valve does not allow complete drainage unless one tips the container. Could u not drain from the bottom rather than from the side? Also…u claim the capacity to be 35 cups, but one can only run run one gl at a time time (16 cups)
