Lovely pitcher

I really like the way this pitcher looks on my kitchen counter, and of course I love the fact that it is glass. Also the top is quite ingenious - we really like the design whereby you run water into the flip top and it automatically opens and then closes when the water stops flowing. A couple of suggestions for improvement: having to run water through the filter to flush it when you change to a new one is super inconvenient, especially because the water runs so slowly through the filter when its new - wondering about just soaking the filter before installing rather than running water through and discarding; you might consider a slight re-design of the pitcher and filter housing - the glass version of the pitcher is quite heavy and a differently designed or just larger handle might help, the filter housing is quite fussy and needs to be lined up perfectly with the pitcher spout or else pouring becomes ineffective and messy, and as has been mentioned previously although the fill-top is clever it must be used with extreme care due to the proximity to the pour spout (e.g., its very easy to accidentally get unfiltered water into the pitcher itself and thus have to pour out the contents of the pitcher and go through the long wait for it to filter and fill again).
All of that said, I really appreciate having this alternative to other water filters with plastic pitchers and less effective filtration. This is a new product and I'm sure it will only improve with time!
