Delicious taste

I love the taste of water using LifeStraw filters. The water is soft and thirst-quenching, and I have the knowledge that my purchase goes to a worthy cause as well as healthier than tap water.

Home Pitcher Water Tastes Good but With Concerns

I'm ware that the pitcher is not designed to lower TDS (total dissolved solids), however it is increasing TDS levels. I have a digital TDS measuring device. tap water shows 110, but after running through the pitcher it is 120. I have a reverse osmosis system producing with TDS of 10, after running that water through pitcher it is 20. Why would the pitcher increase TDS levels? Secondly, the box has a Cancer warning label, and the help site refers to the companies adherence to CA Prop 65 with a link to the Prop 65 documents. But there is no specific detail on what chemical the pitcher uses or how it is used...is it in the filter? is a part of the pitcher?

The pitcher was lovely, but didn’t fit in our parents’ fridge door or shelf. Perhaps it is not meant to be refrigerated, but they prefer cold water.

this is working well for me. my old one was plastic but it did fill from the top, which is what this one does. Regarding bumping the bottom and breaking...I got the Silicone base to prevent that. Regarding cleaning, I empty the filtered water into a pitcher to keep in the fridge, so I don't have moisture buildup/bacteria/mold. I love that you could use it to filter non-potable water, but haven't had a need for that. I'll probably buy a water bottle for my outdoorsman brother.

The LifeStraw pitcher did a great job of removing the metallic taste from our well water. But every photo I've seen on the website and on your collateral material shows only a little water in the pitcher, implying that you can't have filtered water rise above the bottom of the filter housing. If that's true, then you can only have enough filtered water in the pitcher for one large glass of water at a time. And the pitcher takes up a lot of room in the fridge. Not a bad product, but not ideal. The best approach I can think of is to leave the pitcher out of the fridge, then every time it has filtered a little water I'll have to pour that water into a second pitcher and put that pitcher in the fridge to get cold. A lot of work for a little water. But perhaps your photos are misleading and you really can keep pouring new water into the LifeStraw and let it rise up above the bottom of the filter housing??

Nice design aesthetic, great tasting water, a little cumbersome to pour when full (the design makes it bottom heavy which is good so it doesn't tip over easily, but may require 2 hands to pour when full). Given LifeStraw's reputation of providing quality water I would definitely recommend this product.

I recently purchased this item due to my tap water being lower quality. The filter in Lifestraw helped the taste and smell of the water, and the size is perfect for my family of 3. I’m very happy with my purchase, and recommend it to anyone whose water quality at home may be lacking.
