Wanted to like it... but it leaks

I really wanted to like this product - great form factor, technology and I like the company and their mission. Customer service was also great on my first interaction with them.
However, I think there must be a design flaw in the valve for the Home Dispenser. After using the product for a few weeks, it started to leak. First a drip or two, then eventually we had to elevate the unit to put a cup underneath that had to be emptied every couple of days. I let customer service know and they were great - sent out a replacement unit right away.
Unfortunately, after a month or so, the second unit now leaks as well.
I reached out again to customer service, but haven't heard anything back (after 7 days as of this review)

Great back in emergency at home

We have a rain barrel that collects water from the roof. When our power went out, this provided us with plenty of drinking water using LifeStraw Home Dispenser. The only qualm I had was getting it ready to use, prepping it so to speak. Wash bin and attachments, rinse carbon filter, cycle water through and dump out. Then you're ready. Not really a big deal, though.

I really love the product and find it to be very affordable for what you are getting. There are only two things I wish were different. I wish there was an option to buy something beside a plastic container at this size. I also with the spout where the water comes out of was faster… it takes me forever to fill my Stanley.

The water tastes great and pitcher is very easy to use. Exactly what I needed. (Btw it does take a few minutes for the first few rounds to go through. So you installed the filter correctly, just gotta wait!)
