Hold good amount for one person. I try to keep it full so refill alot. The design is much better than others on the market. Quality well I did have to get a replacement but thanks to lifestraw they took care of it and sent the Silone base which does make the difference. I didn't know they had one. So they stand behind the product as well

Water filter is good, dispenser design is bad

Let me start by saying that lifestraw water filtration is very good, no doubts about it. However I dislike the design of their dispenser. My problems with it.
1. The faucet design is horrible. You have to keep it pressed to fill water and filling anything other than a tumbler is uncomfortable with it.
2. The faucet leaks in a few days itself and you can’t replace it.
3. The faucet cannot be removed and cleaned.
4. Replacing the membrane filter is tough, specially if you have bug hands, although its still ok since you need to do it every only in 6-12 months.

I don’t know why lifestraw couldn’t have a normal faucet on it like the Brita or other dispensers have. I love the filter and I hate it that it’s overshadowed by a crappy dispenser design. It should be functional rather than sleek looking.

Very happy with this unit. Easy to fill and dispense. Portable (more than the glass pitcher, which we had before) so we can bring on vacation and filter lake water.

Great idea but the dispensing tap is way too small and way too slow

I love the way it fits on the refrigerator shelf, and LOVE the taste of the water. But the dispenser valve is WAY too small and too slow and just too hinky. By the time I can dispense a glass of water, the fridge is beeping at me for leaving the door open too long...... please redesign with one of those flip-lever dispensing taps with triple the flow rate, and you'll have a perfect water dispenser.
