I honestly thought I was

I honestly thought I was buying a glass carafe. So disappointed when the plastic carafe arrived. BUT it does the same fantastic job. I drink lots more water since getting my Lifestraw carafe.

Want to love

Don't get me wrong, I love how well this pitcher filters. However the pitcher, itself, is extremely poorly made. I purchased one in November of 2021 and it started to crack at the bottom and leak water in less than two months. I worked with Lifestraw support and they, thankfully, replaced it because it was within two months of purchase. But of course, my new one started to crack at the three month mark. I have to keep the pitcher on a dishtowel, that I replace every couple of days, so it won't leak all over the refrigerator. I see now that they have a silicone base that you can purchase separately. I wished I would have known about that sooner so I could have bought it to protect the new one!

Leak at water dispenser

This is a simple unit sits nicely in our refrigerator until we noticed the leak and it seems irreparable because it looks like molded plastic and we've had it less than a year purchased August 2021 : (

A Positive Life Change

Hi LifeStraw folk, We LOVE our new LifeStraw pitcher! Previously, we had been using water in plastic jugs. Defineitely not sustainable. The pitcher sits right next to the sink for easy filling. It's not light, but is managable. When full, it doesn't need to picked up - just tilted. The surprising thing to us, which we din't expect - is the wonderful TASTE of the water. It makes tap water tasteless and odorless. I love it because there is less plastic waste than buying so many bottles and jugs of water every week. Love mine and am getting one as a gift for my sister.

Replacement filters are super simple to replace. I purchased enough for six months and placed a date on the filters when to replace. Takes the guesswork out of the question of when to do so. Very happy with my decision to purchase the LifeStraw water system.

Clean filtered water you can taste
