I liked this water pitcher and filter, until I found out it had a California Prop 65 warning!

Proposition 65 requires businesses to provide warnings to Californians about significant exposures to chemicals that cause cancer, birth defects or other reproductive harm. I was replacing the filter when I noticed in small print on the inside packaging that this has a prop 65 warning! So you claim to filter out bacteria, metals, lead, etc but the filters have chemicals that cause cancer and birth defects? What is the point of your filter system them? And great, you provide water filters to people in need to then expose the recipients to harmful chemicals used in your plastics. Do better Lifestraw.

Great container that holds a good amount of water. When it comes to taste the water is very crisp. I can even tell a difference from my whole house filter. Very happy with the shake and design.

I'm sure the filter works well but it's not designed well at all. The chamber you put the tap water into holds about one cup which is annoying to be constantly filling it up every time you pour a glass.

Taste the clean water! :)

Very pleased with the Home Dispenser water filter. One batch of water takes about 30 minutes to filter through and it takes about 4-5 batches to fill the dispenser completely, but that's a reasonable wait-time for clean water! It fits nicely in our refrigerator and holds enough water that we only need to fill it up about once every week (for 2 people). Immediately we could tell it was working as the taste of the water drastically improved! What a relief to know that we're drinking far fewer chemicals and pathogens than before. Wonderfully affordable too!!
We have LifeStraw water bottles as well for camping and those are AMAZING. Once we had to drink out of a stagnant pond of water and our LifeStraws literally kept us from getting dehydrated and sick!

My family and I immediately could taste the difference since we started using the pitcher filter. My younger brother has been drinking more because of it. Thank you for creating a product that helps families to drink cleaner and fresher water that way it should be. Please keep up the great work and mission.

BEST purification system yet!

I am a WATERAHOLIC!!! Good water is one of my most important requirements in life. I have had under the sink water purification systems, the Britta and a few others over the years. A friend recommended LifeStraw and I LOVE IT. The color is super CLEAR, the taste is like some of those 'fancy' companies who make purified water... so clean and delicious. I also like the 10-cup because I do drink a lot of water and I use purified water for my cooking as well so I go through a lot of water. This is the BEST water purification system I have found in my 65 years on the planet.

Taste is great. Glad I got the 7 cup. The larger one would be too heavy. It is a little slow to fill. Looks good.
