This pitcher filters the water perfectly - no taste, crisp and clear. I'm on good municipal water, but the chemical tastes often come through. I am concerned with PFAS and this pitcher filters those and other microparticles out. Highly recommend.

Love life straw but leaking unit

I love lifestraw and I haven’t had an issue before any product I’ve bought. I had the 7 cup pitcher and got tired of constantly refilling, so I bought this unit. There is a slight leak from the tap, it drips constantly, I found that out the hard way when I slipped on the puddle of water it created. Since I’ve had to put a towel under the dispenser and I guess it’s okay…I would imagine they wouldn’t take back the product since I opened it.
Maybe I just got a bad unit, but the constant leaking is getting annoying.

Life Saver!

I moved into a building that is 200 years old. It was the only apartment I could afford. The water is well water here. Came out colored with rust and smells like rotten eggs and black floaters. I didn't feel safe using it for anything especially for drinking and cooking. I started buying bottles of water but couldn't afford it and frankly was feeling guilty about all the plastic I was dumbing in the trash. My sister bought me this to help me have safe water. I was so excited to see how well it worked. The water comes out crystal clear and the smell is gone and it tastes like clean water. Now I feel safe drinking my water and cooking with it. Thank you so much 🙏. I now understand the good work that life straw does around the world! I feel it now on a personal level. If I didn't have the opportunity to buy bottled water we would have gotten sick. I will never take clean water for granted again.

I bought the LifeStraw water filter pitcher after reading about the product.
I am very impressed with how great the water taste the first time I used it.
I am very happy to find a great water filter system in a pitcher,it has helped me get away from single use plastic bottles!

Leaks constantly

While I feel like I could give the product 5 stars based on the taste of the water alone, the product feels cheaply made and the spigot dripped constantly. We had a constant puddle (like HUGE) every time we opened the fridge. It made the product completely unusable bc the water leaked out AND made a massive mess to be cleaned every time we opened the door. I love the idea and the mission behind the company but unless they fix a crucial part of the design, it’s useless

This filtered water tastes better than Brita but I still don't really like it. I'm using it instead of distilled water in a humidifier but it still leaves a white powdery residue on my furniture. For these reasons I'm kind of disappointed in it.
